Seriously, Samurai Showdown should have been points. It's a retro title. Just one more example of the prices going up for no reason.

Didn't Shotest Shogi come out randomly some weekend a few weeks back in Japan?

I thought I read something to that effect somewhere.

Also the SS2 stuff is BS. SNK screwed up Metal Slug on XBLA and I'd be surprised if this was done any better. The pricing has no justification.

Particularly when it was announced as 400 points.

I'm hoping this is just a mistake.

How did they screw up metal slug? Is there no online or something? Fuck, just go download winkawaks and use the online there to play every metal slug online.

I for one love the fact that I own Metal Slug 3 on my xbox and have played it through a few times without noticing anything wrong.

Can someone please explain to me why X3F reported a 400 MS points release for Samurai Showdown II on Monday, the 8th, and now say it's 800 MS points?

Major Nelson changed the price on his blog like yesterday I think. Everyone else is just updating from what he posted and what is currently stated on the marketplace.

I own Fatal Fury Special ad would have snapped up SSII in a heartbeat for 400 points, but at 800 points, the annoying shadow flicker gets on my nerves.

Yeah, that sucks, Major Nelson just corrected his blog to 800 MS points. Why did MS feel the need to give me a major hard-on for SSII for $5 and then double it? Bastards!

Oh, my bad, I did spell it wrong. Shodown it is. :-P

Concerning SS2 sudden 800 pricepoint.

First of all I'm really angry as I was up waiting for this game last night.

Saying a game is gonna be one price then change it on us all after the fact is borderlining retail fraud.

I contacted Xbox directly about this issue at 18004myxbox.

Surprisingly they took this issue very seriously and escalated my commplaint saying the issue will be delt with swiftly.

I was given a reference number, told to log on to xboxcom, go to feedback and put my concerns in words and include my reference number as well.

So people, if you all want to have your SS2 fix for 400 ms points follow suite and the issue should be cleared up soon.

If you already bought SS2 and want that 400 ms points back do this as well I suggest.

My bad, FALSE ADVERTISING not retail fraud completly two different things.

Scroll down to the bottom of xboxcoms site to find the feedback option.

Well, MS lost at least one sale of SamShow2 from me. 10 bucks is too much for an old arcade game, no matter what it is.

MS and SNk playmore is loosing a hell of alot more than one sale on this I can assure everyone.

As far as the other two arcade offerings go, I found Rocketbowl to be very stupid and I havn't tried the board game but imagine I'll come up with the same conclusion.

I had hopes for RB too, its a shame but the game is just really boring and simple at the same time.

SS2 is a total disaster and if enough put up a fuss about it we will get that game fixed to a 400 price point.

Without a doubt one of the worst Xbox Live Arcade release days in the history of the service.

I disagree with ccc - Rocketbowl is actually pretty interesting once you play around with it a bit. A really strange combo of bowling, miniature golf and Monkey Ball! I wasn't that stoked on another bowling game - I mean, I've got WiiSports! But I found Rocketbowl totally worth a purchase.
