Left 4 Dead doesn't seem all that revolutionary. Co-op shooter...been there many times.

The difference between this and other co-op shooters is the AI Director. This game feels epic to play. It knows exactly when to throw zombies at you in waves, and it knows when you need a few seconds to rest. It always feels like a life or death struggle. I played it at PAX, and it is now an absolute must buy for me.

God bless 'em for making a coop demo. For a game where coop is a big draw, it will be nice to kick the tires.
This will also make it an easier sell for my cheap-ass friends, since they'll be able to make their own call on it.

This game looks great. I will definitely be picking this one up. I'm surprised no PS3 Fanboys have posted a negative comment about this game and Valve's position with the PS3 yet.
