Y'know, I was really hoping the PAIN devs would throw us early adopters a bone by having their (OMG ONLY) second level in the game for free.

The fact that they nickel and dime us for each stupid character that's nothing more than cosmetic is already ridiculous, on top of the fact that you only get about 2 or 3 characters in the core game (2 of the characters you have to be houdini to unlock).

The game's certainly there, and damn fun, but not fun enough for more than 25 minutes.

I thought it would be a free update. Thats why I bought it when I did. I may still keep Pain if the Trophies are free, but if not, well....

More space for me, fuck you.

wtf? Was that directed at me?

Anyway, the trophies come in a free patch when you start up the game. Albeit, the trophies are free, but most of them you have to pay to unlock (do this in the amusement park, do that with a female character, do this with a DLC character).

DLC should be used to add-on to a game that's been out on the market for a while, and needs a refresh or a little extra content. DLC should not be showered within 1-2 weeks of the game's release and nickel and dime customers, ESPECIALLY when the game has bare bones content to begin with.

Does anyone know if the Rock Band guitar works for GH: Aerosmith? I know Rock Band added a patch for the LP but I don't know if they updated GH to work with the Rock Band guitar.

Somebody stated on the PSBlog that the guitar works, but barely. After starting the download, the info for the file on the store says that "Activision allows you to use this game with only the Guitar hero peripheral or a standard system controller." Of course, this is all written in Caps Lock, which is the cruise control for COOL.

@ Drew

You're right, he's not off topic... Guitar Hero: Aeorsmith is one of the available demos this week. So, your sarcastic comment is true once you remove the sarcasm.

I wasn't being sarcastic! No one ever gets credit for being on topic here, it's sick!

*Southern Drawl* Let me finish!

I wish they would put up some more of Capcom's PS1 classics, like RE, for example.

The Aerosmith demo doesn't work with the RB guitar for those wondering about that. You can navigate menus just fine, but none of the fret buttons work properly (RB's Orange = strummed red button, RB's Green = strummed orange button).

Is anyone else pig-sick of these "exclusive" demos? They always seem to involve money. Just release them for everyone, and get the support of the general public.

The general public will get the demo in about a month which is a few weeks before the game actually comes out.

Did anyone see the license to export RB1 songs? I gave the store a quick look and couldn't find it. Maybe too quick a look?

I also didn't see the Metallica GHIII, but are they holding that until tomorrow or did I just miss it?

eh, im not a Qore subscriber so this is kind of a boring update for me.

i just dont understand what they would put in Qore that i probably havent already heard about through various websites or wont hear about shortly after they announce it on Qore. i used to buy OPM religiously until i realized i was only buying it for the demos cause i had heard about most of the news long before i got the mag anyway.
