Seth MacFarlane takes on Mario for Burger King

OK, you got us, we're stalling. We just don't have a lot to add here: Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane made a cartoon for Burger King about Mario. That's the whole story. But, hey, it's really funny and a lot of you guys tipped us to it, so we thought we should pass it along. Check it out after the jump.

The princess is at the mcdonalds?
Dale @ Sep 11th 2008 3:29PM
You missed a good joke there.
Sorry, your Princess is at a White Castle.
BananaBoat @ Sep 11th 2008 8:04PM
"Thank you Mario, but the Princess is inside Bowser's intestines!"
I thought mario was going to uh...you know...smack a bitch and then take liberties. I guess this was an official BK add though, so they probably would have frowned on that. I'd say it's ten or so years past due for Mario to actually get some sex out of Peach. He's been stuck plowing Daisy over and over since before I was born, it's getting a little bit sad considering that he shares her with Luigi.

Fabulous!
mewoks @ Sep 11th 2008 2:08PM
Only part that made me laugh was him singing the invincibility music.
Slaziman @ Sep 11th 2008 2:23PM
Same for me.
But I don't usually lol
CitizenSnips @ Sep 11th 2008 2:10PM
Well, that was...wtf was the point of that? Is this just viral marketing?
What does it have to do with burger king?
Im lost.
Ridgecity @ Sep 11th 2008 2:59PM
The only way that guy gets jobs now is whoring the show.
Did you know after the Star Wars thing he wanted to make every big Fox movie into Family Guy DVD? of course he was turned down.
SKI @ Sep 11th 2008 5:17PM
Ridgecity proof or it's not true.
Ignatius @ Sep 11th 2008 5:37PM
Probably the same reason a recent episode of American Dad had a Burger King advertisement built into the plot of the show.
Ranus Studios @ Sep 11th 2008 2:13PM
While I am pretty sure that mushrooms did not kidnap her, at least Bowser ate her.
The Daymonster @ Sep 15th 2008 1:03PM
I think they were thinking Goomba's were the mushrooms. Maybe?
Tez (PSN: Tezasaurus) @ Sep 11th 2008 2:14PM
Stupid, and went on way too long. Like pretty much everything Seth MacFarlane does.
chispito @ Sep 11th 2008 2:16PM
As someone who has seen maybe three episode of Family Guy, I thought it was funny.
Tez (PSN: Tezasaurus) @ Sep 11th 2008 2:27PM
Great.
zentheoutcast @ Sep 11th 2008 3:21PM
Agree'd!
Shagittarius @ Sep 11th 2008 3:06PM
Family Guy is a piece of shit.
Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Sep 11th 2008 9:16PM
agreed. If this was 30-a minute long maybe it would have been funny, but as usual Seth drags his jokes way too long and they become so dumb.
AceRadd @ Sep 11th 2008 2:20PM
I prefer the "done right" version someone did:

Well at least I liked the original video better.
Me like many other people simply cannot understand the crowd drooling over looser plumber sequel/rehash games.
The original video highlights the fact that Mario games hove no story line whatsoever and that Mario is not a likable character. That makes your drooling and excitement at every new rehash look even more ridiculous.
Zertoss @ Sep 11th 2008 2:19PM
This doesn't make a bit of since. Why was the princess wearing clothes?
Hyams @ Sep 11th 2008 2:56PM
This comment was funnier than the actual video.
Someguy @ Sep 11th 2008 3:16PM
agreed
Zertoss @ Sep 11th 2008 3:23PM
I'm hoping it wasn't because I misspelled 'sense'.
Andy @ Sep 11th 2008 2:20PM
It's actually for his new website www.sethcomedy.com
John Z @ Sep 11th 2008 3:16PM
Well, it's an effective advertisement for it, then! I now am aware that there is a site for Seth MacFarlane's comedy, and accordingly I have placed it in EVERY goddamn crap blocking filter on my machines so that I never even accidentally visit it.
farfisa @ Sep 11th 2008 2:20PM
Burger King was just the sponsor--that's like saying that Football is supposed "about" Budweiser. Well, actually for some that's true...
Miguel @ Sep 11th 2008 2:22PM
that was awesome!
Andy @ Sep 11th 2008 2:23PM
Meh, that was pretty lame. Not even really any funny one-liners or anything.
Eric @ Sep 11th 2008 2:23PM
He is making internet shorts. There will be a new one every week. It his new thing with youtube and burger king is the sponser.
Poke4Christ @ Sep 11th 2008 2:26PM
Not shown is the previous scene between Mario and Toad. Mario got pissed at him for saying "our princess is in another castle" for the 7th time and threw him into the lava.
Ninjakamster (PS360 FTW!) @ Sep 11th 2008 2:34PM
This wasn't funny to me and really most of the new Family Guy episodes aren't either, the first three seasons of the show were the best. I also liked his "Larry and Steve" short shown on Cartoon Network back in 1997.
megatog615 @ Sep 11th 2008 2:38PM
Wow, looks like I found my twin brother at last!
LaughingTarget @ Sep 11th 2008 3:25PM
You're also a chubby guy with a twirly mustache?
CubeGuy @ Sep 11th 2008 6:28PM
Someone else remembers that!
There is a god...
blerg @ Sep 11th 2008 2:34PM
this sucked a fair bit.. but then again so do 19 of the 22 minutes in each family guy episode
Immortal Technique PSN: johnnynumber5 @ Sep 11th 2008 2:36PM
That was awesome! Hilarious. Bravo, Mr.McFarlane.
Shmil @ Sep 11th 2008 2:38PM
Congratulations Seth MacFarlane, you've taken a joke used by every videogame webcomic artist and whored it out to burger king! Not only that you didn't even make it funny. Well i guess that depends on the definition of funny. To you, Seth, funny is either an unneeded drawn out musical number or a drawn out awkward fight between people, be it physical or verbal.
Family Guy should have stayed off the air after season 3. that way it could be remembered as something that really was great and now its just annoying.
Sinister Rouge @ Sep 11th 2008 2:47PM
So tell me, where's your hilarious foray into the world of animation?
Shmil @ Sep 11th 2008 2:51PM
glad you asked. No i have never animated anything in my life, but that doesn't change anything. you my good sir are just a #6 in the 8 most obnoxious internet commenters
http://www.cracked.com/article_16605_8-most-obnoxious-internet-commenters.html
LaughingTarget @ Sep 11th 2008 3:30PM
Hey, leave them alone. They've established they need to buy everything anyone ever creates if it isn't of a subject they, themselves, don't actually actively engage in.
Hey, I think you should buy my book. Why? You're not a published author and, therefore, you have no choice but buy my product, enjoy it, and say nothing but nice things...because you're not a writer.
Without them, many of us would be out of a job, like Seth McFarlane.
KiraXD @ Sep 11th 2008 5:25PM
so you are a #5 and replied with a #6
i guess its ok to be a hypocrite on the internet.
Tasogare @ Sep 11th 2008 7:01PM
What the hell sense does it make to require someone to have done something better in order to hate something that sucks?
Point: Seth McFarlane sucks, and I can't draw.
SuckItTrebek @ Sep 11th 2008 10:11PM
"So tell me, where's your hilarious foray into the world of animation?"
My FAVORITE bit about assholes like this is that they never apply things both ways-if you criticize something, you shouldn't because you haven't accomplished the same.....oh, but hey, it's totally cool to compliment something despite not having any experience!
How DARE you compliment Da Vinci's painting skills!? Where's your timeless manuscripts and iconic paintings?! I don't see YOUR Mona Lisa! You don't know dick about being a great artist!!!
Sinister Rouge @ Nov 1st 2008 6:21AM
"My FAVORITE bit about assholes like this is..."
Yakyakyakyakyak. So what you're saying is, if you make fun of a Youtube video and I tell you to try and make one better, that's hypocritical because I never complain when people say something is GOOD? Perhaps if you step back for a second, you might realise that's one of the worst attempts at an argument I have ever heard. And I've been to GameFAQs.
My FAVOURITE bit about assholes like you is the complete and utter lack of common sense when posting on the internet. I think you just made number 9 on the obnoxious posters list, bucko: Captain Illogical.
B @ Sep 11th 2008 2:39PM
That was horrendous. Seth MacFarlane has been washed up since the first 3 seasons of FG.

DO NOT WANT
Ninjakamster (PS360 FTW!) @ Sep 11th 2008 2:43PM
Most of the new episodes of Family Guy have been reduced to immature potty humor, they lack the class and charm the first three seasons had.
