Wait, you're saying the Dashboard Confessional makes one want to kill themselves (or at least think about it?) Have you heard the song? I personally think it's a cheerful little tune. Actually one of my favorite songs (just for the record, two-thirds of my cd collection is either hardcore, metal, or a combination of the two.)

I would admit if i had to listen to any single song from DC, it would indeed be this one. However, the nature of many (most?) of their songs is depressing (again, imo) as well as the often squeeky nature of the lead singers voice. This song is upbeat i suppose, it's just that sulking 'lost love' agony in his voice i am not keen on hearing. Maybe only me hears it like that haha. My brother loves DC, and at home i had to listen to it days on end for months and again every year or so, so peg that to my dislike if one wants to.

Then again, i did not like Further Seems Forever when he was the lead singer in that band, yet when he left and they replaced him, their cd "Hide Nothing" (feel free to bash) i love.
