Wow... very nice selection!

I need to buy Rock Band... I play it every week in my cousin house and is very fun.

I want to buy it, but I don't want a lot of plastic instruments...

What are the best ones? The Rock Band 1, Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero IV? Are the instruments wireless or do I have to buy the wireless instruments separately?

wait and buy the rb2 bundle, comes with 1 guitar, drums and a mic.

oh and this dlc week is better than all of GHWT's set list with the exception of Ozzy.

GHWT will have the best guitar (it's basically the les paul from gh3, but with a neck that actually stays connected). The drums are personal preference. A LOT of people are already hating on the GHWT ones. Mics should be about the same. As for wireless, the gh3/aerosmith guitar one, the rb 1 stand-alone one, the rb2 one, and the ghwt ones are all wireless. The RB2 drums are wireless. Don't know about the ghwt ones, but they probably are.

Meh, it's all subjective, I hate the Les Paul, and after getting used to the Strat I can never touch that fat buttoned, clicky strum piece of crap again, but I am very aware that this is a minority opinion.

"oh and this dlc week is better than all of GHWT's set list with the exception of Ozzy. "

We know that you hate GH, but ffs that statement is an overkill. If anything, compare Peace Sells to Death Magnetic as this might turn out into an interesting discussion.

I still cannot understand what makes wireless drums an attractive prospect. When they're wired you don't have to buy batteries; and besides, you're not likely to be moving too much when you're playing them.

A great album!

Complete crap in the tour pack though.

Nope. The only other song is Peace Sells itself, which is already in RB2.

well, if you buy it from itunes, you get four of the same songs that are remixed by Randy Burns, but i don't know if this is true if you actually buy a physical copy.

You'd think they would slow down this week, since everyone will be busy with 84 new songs as it is - not that I don't admire the effort.

I love me some Dashboard Confessional...

What... Shut up :P

Also, Panic At the Disco has some balls to almost completely turn their backs on their fanbase... and I'd say for the better.

What was the old sound and what is the new sound? I'm curious but not curious enough to sacrifice my soul by listening to them.

Ah an album from the golden age of metal, back when it was great AND popular. Yeah, it's amazing to know that the common people used to have decent taste.

Now we need an old Testament album, Master of Puppets, and hell even an Anthrax album would be kickass (and it would complete the thrash circle)

I've recently got into Testament via the Electric Crown DLC a month or two ago; and boy, they're awesome.

Slayer > Anthrax. I think we can all agree Master of Puppets is the best album to ever grace the planet though.

I can't see paying full price for an album that you can't use on your portable music player; hopefully, in the future, when you download songs through these games you'll be able to put them on your iPod, Zune, or whatever. Luckily, I already own Peace Sells, so I'm not buyin'.

personally..i can.

You sacrifice playing on your portable player for the ability to play it yourself - an even trade in my opinion.

In addition...you can always but the audio out on your Xbox/PS3 to the audio in on your PC...and go to vocal training.

I've always been fine with it. I mean, I can't listen to it by myself like I would like to, but you can instead listen to it with the whole room instead of just sitting there listening. If you get my drift.

Did I miss a formal announcement or something, but is this going to be standard practice?

New songs (except albums) = $1 for the first month?

Because that is awesome.

Megadeth! Personally not too exciting for me, but I might pick up one or two tracks from the album.

The Rock Band Live pack is a somewhat good way to attract more people to DLC, as well. I might pick up Dashboard Confessional but I'm not too sure yet.

Hell yes. So getting this even though it its likely to be so difficult to play on RB that it won't be as fun.

In he whole Rock Star vs. Guitar Hero debate, what tips the scales is largely who provides the best Megedeth. I have deep respect for Metallica, but I just like Megadeth much much more. And as much as I want the Guitar Hero drums, the entire Peace Sells album is truely of the gods. Now all we need to Rust in Peace and Countdown.

+1 to you sir!
I wish so bad that they would put Rust in Peace in one of these (best metal album ever! but let's not get into that)! In fact, I've been considering buying Rock Revolution on the sole fact that it has Holy Wars.

Call me a homo if you want, but I'm really happy that Hands Down is available on Rock Band. I bet it's really fun to play.

I used to love to sing the shit outta that song. Aw hell, I still do :)
