I remember when Woolworths in the UK had a firesale to get rid of surplus HD DVD stock.

This sounds very similar. Perhaps the begining of the end of Woolworths stocking Xbox, due to abysmal Euro sales...

Yes, you dolt, I know how to use reply. For whatever reason, though, the reply button doesn't always show up - so I suppose I can't hardly use what I don't know is there.

Can you not make a comment that doesn't paint you as the typical trolling loser? Like, maybe even if you gave an honest opinion that made any sense we'd be willing to listen, but instead you call me an "xbox moron" because I didn't hit reply, which effectively gave away your "cover" as if you hadn't done so already. You obviously knew who I was talking to, though.

I'm in a good mood today!!!

lol @ digdug/jake/nina troll

Nobody's listening to your garbage about Woolworth's discontinuing the 360 or that sales in Europe are abysmal.

ps3fanboy.com or sonydefenseforce.com are only a click away, man. They'd probably only your nonsensical ramblings a lot more over there, but in here it will only earn you mockery.

This move will def. shift more 360s over the holiday season. Esp. when PSĀ£ is too expensive and Wii will be in short supply.

Good move microsoft.

@ digdug

I'd think the moron would be the person trolling a forum for a console he doesn't like, no? Or, maybe the kind of person who copies and pastes the same comment from one thread to the next, while "stealthily" (lol) changing his name as to throw us off, in an effort to instill fear in owners of a console he doesn't like.

How would you label that kind of person? I guess a PS3 moron then?

You're probably sitting there all red in the face when you saw NPD's for the month, so you just HAD to do something to try and detract from its victory. And now you see that Woolworths is having a pretty good deal on 360's that might actually move a good # of consoles and I'd imagine your head is about to explode, or you'll be crying yourself to sleep tonight.

Now you are making yourself look like an asshole. Good job.

This is certainly a fire sale but I think it's to eliminate the older more failure prone 360's.

If you consider the 360 getting owned by the Wii but outselling the PS3 by a paltry 10,000 units (in the USA only not world wide) you have no life, what so ever.

Don't make yourself look like an ass because some pathetic fanboy made himself look like a total douche bag. Maybe there will be a day where gamers can get along as gamers and not fanatical zealots.

??? NPD shows PS3 selling more units this year (in Xboxs strongest region). In europe the situation is much more dire for Xbox. It's got a reputation as a failure prone, noisy FPS-Only hardcare shooter console.

There is no way the wii-loving casual gaming market will embrace the 360 AT ANY PRICE. Those that wanted a 360 (for some inexpicable reason) have already got one.

This is why Woolworths are dropping XBox, they can see it's end of the road. (Developers think so too, according to Epic...)

Yeah! I knew this was coming! Now, that makes the 360 in the UK cheaper then the Wii, but the same price as a PSP!

Things are gonna heat up this Xmas....
