Things have been fairly aggressive between the two presidential nominees as of late, perhaps largely due to a certain comment involving a farm animal and mouth-based cosmetics. That's why we were so glad to see them squash the beef in a recent Saints Row 2 advertisement (posted after the break), combining forces to wreak havoc across Stilwater (much to the chagrin of their respective campaign staffs, we imagine). We're also glad to see that the character customization in THQ and Volition's crime-riddled sandbox is so versatile. We've already begun planning our own presidential nominee superteams for when the game comes out -- we've always wondered what Roosevelt and Dewey would look like in a gang war.

that trailer made trhe game seem like it was more then 2 player co-op. But its not. still looks good tho. Considering the game comes out in a month, im still wondering why nothing has been said about the multiplayer. The multi in saints row 1 was a nice stepping stone and im hoping to see a completely revamped open world like GTA multi but with stuff to actually do and fun modes like the first siants had. Is this game even still multiplayer? or did they just make it single player only (with co-op)

McCain is surprisingly fit. You obviously don't know what you're talking about.

As far as torture goes I'd rather have my arms broken over and over again than to in a pile of guys naked. Wait, wait, my pants are getting tighter.

Stephen Hawking can't use his arms, or most of his body at all, but that doesn't stop him from using a computer. I've watched people with no arms at all use everything from a pencil in the mouth to their toes to type.
j.howlett- You can't call it torture. McCain got much the same treatment that Gitmo and other facility inmates get and the Bush admin doesn't call that torture.

Don't you know it's only torture when it happens to us. Much like it's only terrorism when it hits our soil.
The truth is that McCain was treated better than the people at Gitmo. Also, the vast majority of those people were found to have no connection to any terrorist organizations. But, by saying that fact I am being sympathetic to the terrorist.

That's maybe a positive thing. the first game was... OK, but it tried to take itself far too seriously at times and ended up looking ridiculous for it's effort.
If they just allow some sandbox madness that appeals to the more immature side of us all then it might work very well.

Sounds like a worried GTA fan. SR1 was a great game, underrated by reviewers afraid to give a "rip-off" a high score since for some convoluted reason they think it would hurt their credibility.
Should be the same thing again for SR2. This game looks awesome. I'm trying to rush through GTA4 now, since I have a feeling as soon as SR2 is out I'll never touch it again.

so the ability to make a bald white man and a bald black man is a versatile character creation system?

This trailer is made of win. With some luck this may be the spiritual successor to the gta3 games.

It's not. It's actually playing "My Country, 'Tis of Thee" or "America", which is the same tune as "God Save The Queen".

I understand why McCain has a gun, but why does Obama? He should have a white flag.

I would pay a sack full of money to watch McCain knee someone in the face. That would be so much epic win that Obama would have no choice but to back out of the race.

This game looks really funny. Its funny only because the two main people running for president are in a game. The best part is there working together in this game when in reality all they do is say negative things about eachother. I swear this country has a great sense of humor. Not everyone may think so but I do. Nice to know we can make fun of ourselves and still laugh about it.
