Sweet! I was expecting it to be announced a lot later than this. Can't wait for November to roll round.

I don't know about you guys, but this terrifies me. If anything goes wrong with, say, a major computer system or anything like that, between the 13th and the 16th of November, we're well and proper f%$#ed because a huge chunk of the world's IT staff will be at home playing WoW. So yeah. The Large Hadron Collider doesn't scare me nearly as much as this does. Time to go stock up on batteries and canned goods.

(only half-joking)

Wow, what a broad and ugly generalization. I work in a IT staff of 38 people and 1, yep just 1, plays WoW. A few of us used to play, (upping the grand total to 4 of 38), but we quit playing shortly after the release of the 1st expansion.

You would probably have better luck generalizing the Ren-fair and LARPing types as WoW-players. Better yet, college students with lots of time on their hands.

Jer Jer is right, dude. Generalizing isn't cool at all. Besides, everybody knows that IT guys are way more into complaining and kissing boys than they are World of Warcraft.

I clicked on the ad, which took me to the regular World of Warcraft site (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/). If you then click on Pre-order Information, you get a page that says that it is indeed coming 11/13. Confirmed!

Why... why a date... now I have to count down to said date, and a portion of my soul will be nagging me like a kid in the back seat going "Is today November 13th yet?" every god damn time I think about WoW.

Which is a lot.

Thanks. :D
