Been thinking about picking this up after the update considering it's $30 almost everywhere now.

I picked it up for $30. It's definitely worth it. Very fun game.

Yay, I *do* have a birthday in September, and ironically I received Burnout Paradise as a gift last week, so it seems that this is the gift that keeps on giving :)

Criterion's commitment to supporting BP is excellent - complete with the weekly podcasts and the fact that there's a huge extra island coming soon too, this is one of the best value games around.

After the debacle over the last update, I'm not pinning my hopes on revving up a bike on Thursday.

I own Burnout, and really enjoy the effort Criterion is putting into the release.

Why are they able to do massive updates for FREE, while 90% of other titles charge for even the smallest DLC?

That's amazing DLC, especially because it's free.

My birthday was this month, but it was the day Ike hit and I was kinda sorta pre-occupied with that. Still haven't gotten any gifts yet. This is a great gift, thanks somebody for releasing motorcycles into burnout. Another great gift would be power and water back to home...

Finally, humans come to Paradise City. Great effort by Criterion, I wish more developers would support their products like Criterion!
