Sony and Wizards of the Coast are ramping up yet another 100-card expansion to their genre-bending PS3 hybrid, The Eye of Judgment. The new set, titled Biolith Rebellion Set 3, will bring the game's total number of collectible cards to 310.
As with the previous expansion, an additional PSN purchase will be required before any newly unwrapped cards can be used in game. However, this time around the download will add more than just new animations and rules, including Trophy support, background story and a "set of new abilities that encourage more tactical playing based on creature formation." The new cards are expected to arrive at retail outlets on October 16, provided the shipment doesn't meet with any unfortunate accidents along the way.

Well, I HAVE the game... I bought the eye + game pack for $29 on Amazon and tried playing it three times. Each time I only found 1 other person who was available to play. Maybe it's because I haven't paid for the second expansion and everyone is on there, but I don't want to have to pay for an expansion just to be able to have people to play against, that's lame.

Dunno, maybe it's one of those games that people buy but rarely play. I bought EoJ, played it for a little while and haven't returned to it.
Someone must keep playing though; Corporations aren't known for altruism when it comes to funding.

Had this this game released back in the days of pokemon, yu gi oh and digimon, it would have pwned, but I think people have grown out of the card battling / collecting phase and onto the next big thing.

I'm amazed this game hasn't taken off. This is perhaps the most innovative game concept & execution in the past ten years, and nobody seems to play it!

I play it. I love. Can't wait for the update. And there's always plenty of players online.

Eh :( this game just wasnt all that. I am curious to know how many people play this game. Its nice to see the card battles on the screen but if I want to play a card based game I am going to play with an actual card deck and with a group of friends.

it looks amazing but i'm just not a card battling player. i tried several types of games in the past and can appreciate the amount of strategy involved, i'd rather just collect the cards. i'm hoping maybe there will be a LBP bundle for the eye though.

This would be the easiest Trophies to obtain I assume since many people can copy the cards... I would only think that they'll gain money from the download itself but not cards...
