The big releases are starting to drip out as the industry steadily ramps up for yet another packed holiday season. This week, the Xbox 360 plays host to some decent titles including the likes of Rock Band 2, Pure, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. On top of those, we've also got Armored Core: For Answer and ... um ... Battle Fantasia. To our disappointment, we have learned that Battle Fantasia is not a fighting game about the Disney movie Fantasia. It's a shame, really, because we were ready to throw down with some tutu-wearing hippos.

Got my copy of RB2 around 4 a.m. after a shift at my second job... Played til dawn, slept a little, continued playing all day sunday. So glad I got on the 'til dawn' battle of the bands board, even if it was at the bottom - nothing like proving you were retarded enough to go to a 24-hour wal-mart! Welcome to America, where you can work two jobs for 75 hours a week, get a video game at a 24-hour store, and still have to struggle to pay to fill the gas tank!
...the game's great though.

Rock Band 2 = my favorite game of 2008 so far. Seriously, it's freakin amazing.

Got RB2 yesterday too. Fixes a lot of little things I didn't like about the last one (online play, custom set list, etc.) and just expands on the last one... Considering how many songs it comes with the $60 seems reasonable.
I was incredibly happy to finally get to play Psycho Killer.

Although Rockband is what I play in the dorm, I'm waiting for World Tour for the next gen rhythm games. The setlist is what has me all in.

rockband 2 is really a great game. I love the way the single player campaign is currently set up like the world tour. No more setlists for the win.

I can't wait to get home from work to play some more RB2. I played a ton yesterday... but I want to play more... NOW! I love all of the fixes, and being able to play the RB1 and downloadable content is just so awesome.

My one disappointment is that there is no Jukebox mode. At least not how it was demoed at E3. From what I am reading off of the RockBand Forums is that the work around is to turn on performance mode, turn on no fail mode, turn down the crowd noise, and make a set list as the vocalist.
Really Hmx how hard is that to automate?

haha when i read the title i was like wait theres a rock band unleashed edition?? what am i missing here?!?!?! but yea bought the game yesterday, absolutely love it so far. my only gripe is that i am getting a lot of framerate issues... which is possibly the worst thing that could happen to a rythym game.
