Konami unleashes 'Suikoden: Tierkreis' for DS

Series veterans will be pleased to know that Tierkreis "again follows the story of the 108 Stars of Destiny as they challenge the almighty One King, who intends to create chaos in the universe." (Everyone else, well, we think you get the gist: gang of heroes takes on one, big baddie.) But the most intriguing aspect of Tierkreis is an online mode that let's you entrust characters to other players over the Nintendo WiFi Connection, essentially leaving the grinding up to a complete stranger. "This provides a new way to level up your characters, which helps create a sense of community." What's that? You fancy yourself a loner, you say? Well then, fancy leveling up 108 characters all by yourself!

The series has been hit or miss, but certainly decent enough. Suikoden 3 was awesome. I'd be interested to see how this turns out.

um... so just the pictures single-handedly made me pick back-up Sui3... I love having something to plan for while i wait for the development of spore & WAR
The DS is such a fantastic RPG machine - because remember '2/3rds of every RPG is PR.' I wonder how the boss would feel about playin' some TierKreis one the job... hmmm.

The suikoden franchise has easily become my favourite ever since playing number 5 then 2, im currently planning on playing 3 and 1, damn suikoden rocks, i am over the moon suikoden's coming on the DS, but i always wondered hw it would be on one of the new generation consoles, ah well, suikoden's coming everyone! let's celebrate!!
