I hate timed demos. Crackdown was like that too.

Is this demo hitting the PS3? I don't have room on my Xbox for anything else.

1.22gb. Never a good sign when a game is developed for ps2, ps3, and the 360.

Frankly, it's a pretty disappointing game... After 20 minutes of playing the full version, I was longing for a feature which automatically kicked me back to the dashboard :D
I'm not far into the game yet - I've just unlocked my faction's hideout after the first mission - but the gameworld is full of jaggies, appalling AI enemies who are constantly trying to run through walls, and the enemies just keep respawning (I've lost track of the number of times I've been looking down a road, and suddenly a troop transport appears out of thin air). An extremely messy game, any enjoyment is quickly removed by the number of flaws that are visible.

This game isn't really pretty looking but it is a lot of fun. I am very close to beating it and I recommend it to anyone, especially to play co-op.

yea im tired of war/shooting games that try to make it humorous and lighthearted. like battlefield bad company, if they had made that serious, it would have made the cutscenes watchable. im sure this game is the same way, and any mercenary who looks like an aging harley rider isnt my idea of a badass

Yeah, I agree. At first, I liked Bad Company's style but later on it just got old and I was kind of longing for a more serious narrative to package it all together.

Seems like it's a North American exclusive, which sucks.
Speaking of sucks... A timed demo? Really? Have you people no sense? How does that make me want to buy the game? If someone dangles a cake in front of my face and takes it away every twenty minutes, I buy a pie instead.

sorry man but that's a poor analogy, if someone dangles cake in front of me for 20 min im gonna get full..no room for pie....more like after 20 min of this demo Ive had enough, but who am i to judge everyone has their own preferences...

The Mercenaries 2 demo is now available in the Netherlands so I guess other European countries have access to it, too! Downloading now.

If this demo represents how the full game plays, this game sucks.
Press a button to pick up ammo?
Look acceleration that I can't adjust?
I can use normal (not called-in) weapons to destroy...crates?
It's like playing PSOne all over again.
