Couldn't they give us an hour like on Crackdown?

Before I download this, is it 20 minutes per play, or is it 20 minutes period and then the game won't work (like the damn audiosurf demo. Quickest I've ever bought a game after playing a demo).
Either way, 20 minutes is a JOKE. Why does EA hate it's customers? Why do they want to destroy any fun that their customers might have?

20 minutes isn't that bad. I've played many demos that took less time than that. It's a bit difficult to draw a line in sandbox games, so I'm guess that's why they use time limits. If it's like Crackdown you'll be able to play as many times as you want, but you'll only be able to play in the same game for 20 minutes, after which point you'll be exited back to the demo menu.

I just tried the demo and it didn't kick me off at 20 minutes, so I'm not sure if mine is just borked, or what.
Ten minutes in the demo was enough though. I've played this game before, when it was called Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Maybe it's more fun when the super weapons come into play, but...meh. It doesn't even look good, the textures are all low res and generic. This is a definite rental to see if the super weapons are fun, but I wouldn't buy this game.

It's a well-known fact that all great games have demos released after the full version.

Not that this game is huge on the story or anything, but this video (and the commercial) both seem to reveal spoilers about the first faction you meet. Seems kind of odd as the commercial shows one of your first contacts betraying you, instead of the actual big bad guy in the game.

I'm loving this game. It's just FUN to play. Not ground-breaking, but fun. Especially the co-op.

If the game is anything like this song then they can keep their steaming box of shite.

You honestly hadn't heard the song until now? I'm so ashamed of you, Joystiq.

Easily the worst commercial and song that has ever accosted my television. Regardless of how good the game is, they will never get my money for supporting such insipid marketing.
