didn't mention all those who voted neutral because they hated...THE WHOLE GAME.
DarkNessBear @ Sep 17th 2008 6:50PM
It's amazing to me that my favorite stage was the tribal and my most definite least favorite stage was space. It was so boring and useless feeling. (Mainly because I wasn't able to connect with people online)
tmacairjordan87 @ Sep 16th 2008 2:41PM
Yeah the only part I loved for a while was the space stage until I realized I was doing nothing but fetch quests and attacking empire after empire for dozens of planets...only to notice the game never ends.
You crafty bastards tried to get me like "Heroin Hero" from that South Park episode. Luckily I caught on in time.
Park Zero @ Sep 16th 2008 2:44PM
Dang. I wanted to see how many people chose the “I just wanted to click something” option like I did. My vote didn’t count for anything =(
AwesomeTown @ Sep 16th 2008 2:45PM
I smell spin-offs!
Zertoss @ Sep 16th 2008 2:46PM
The space stage is like having Navi, Otis, and all of the buddies from GTAIV rolled up into one blunt instrument that is then used to beat you to death.
obo @ Sep 16th 2008 3:54PM
While you were writing that comment, your home planet came under attack by an unidentified alien species.
The only way to play Spore is the same as the only way to play The Sims: cheat the shit out of the game as early and frequently as possible. Ctrl-Shift-C moreMoney FTW.
Blazur @ Sep 16th 2008 2:57PM
Tribal stage is painful because of the crappy AI and horrible unit control, but I still find the creature stage to be less enjoyable.

where's the crash bandicoot data? a pole without crash is skewed and under represents what the people really want
rTwelve [xbl:chilblane] @ Sep 16th 2008 3:21PM
also: a Crash with a pole in him is also skewed
j.howlett @ Sep 16th 2008 3:53PM
that would be skewered

You guys should write comedy, this is hilarious.
Abscissa @ Sep 16th 2008 3:00PM
Could be that Tribal was second-favorite for most of the people that didn't vote it as least favorite. Just throwing that out there.
Yourself @ Sep 16th 2008 4:41PM
This theory doesn't mesh with the whole "least favorite phase" poll.
Reboot @ Sep 16th 2008 3:03PM
I hate to say it, but after being bored with the first two levels, I found my patience for the Tribal level just killed any interest I had in making it to the last two levels.
It's such a shame, too, since I was really looking forward to this game.
rTwelve [xbl:chilblane] @ Sep 16th 2008 3:23PM
On my second full species playthrough I got horribly upset with tribal, saved the creature and imported it in a fresh space stage. The only cons were a lack of perks from Tribal/Civ, but it still has the perks from Cell and Creature.
BananaBoat @ Sep 16th 2008 3:12PM
I'm honestly surprised that so many people liked Space. Could it be that they haven't yet realized that there is no endgame to space, and that it just goes on and on forever? Or could it be that they just don't care if the game has no ending?
I was extremely excited for the game, extremely pissed when I heard about the DRM, and ultimately very disappointed in how the game turned out.
Littlebigplanet is now my only hope for non-FPS fun this holiday season (unless I'm forgetting something...well...Fable 2, I guess)

im playing black & white 2 just to get the bad stench of spore off of me.
HEY!!! @ Sep 16th 2008 4:41PM
Actually the game does have ending to get it you have to make your way to the center of the galaxy....there is where the game ends, just thought I should let you know....
BananaBoat @ Sep 16th 2008 7:04PM
I went through like 5 warp holes, so basically I saw 5 galaxies (with enough generic planets and empires to last maybe 10 hours each) and found absolutely nothing. If the games ending is so far away that noone will get to it, it's just as bad as not having an ending at all in my opinion.
I stand corrected though. The game does have an ending.
Yaktastic @ Sep 16th 2008 4:52PM
everyone keeps saying that there isn't and ending... i thought they came out and said a few months ago that there was definately an ending and you ahve to work your way to the center of the galaxy to see it?
still haven't had a chance to pick it up (the fates have seen fit to make me wait - which is fine)

Is there or isn't there an end to THE Spore???
