So much for getting anything productive done this weekend. ( unless you count Double XP as productive which I do! )

I may be in the minority in this group, but I still love this game and play it all the time.

I love double XP weekends. It always brings out the noobs who want to quick level. This makes the people who are actually descent at the game get even more of an XP boost because
A) its doubled
B) the difficulty of your opponents drops severely!

Hoping to hit 55 (finally) this weekend.

Maybe we should Team Kill the Mods using RPG in Hardcore matches so they do something about it for Call Of Duty 6. I can't believe the mods or developers have not done anything to fix the problem as of yet.

On another gaming news site...i read that the douple xp would be all week.

Or am I wrong....see here for yourself...

Infinity Ward's special Call of Duty 4 treat may have come a week later than the 360, but the pay off is that it'll run for a full week, rather than a weekend.

Just like on 360, the special CoD 4 week brings the Variety Map Pack DLC down to half price, encouraging a surge of new players to make the purchase and wander around the new maps lost - easy pickings for those of you who've had them for a while.

And that's particularly convenient because the week also brings double XP awards to all ranked online matches, so while you mop up the newbies your spoils are doubled and your rank soars. Everyone wins!

What Infinity Ward have dubbed "Call of Duty 4 week" (promotions aka dropping the price of the map pack), will run from the 18th to the 25th. However, double XP starts on the 19th and ends on the 21st. If you hear/read differently, that person/source is mistaken. I got my information from Infinity Ward's own fourzerotwo.
