first there was this dude in the jungle and he was all like pew pew pew, then some other dudes got angry and they were like, get him. Then the dude said no way and busted out his boom stick and was all bang bang eat this. then he jumped on a boat and drove around the sea and saw another boat and shot it. then he took the other boat at drove that boat around the ocean. and then he started shooting these rockets at some guys and they were freaking out because they were all like where are these rockets coming from. then he won the game.

Wow, that looks like really awesome gameplay. I love the stealth based mechanics. I always try to go stealthy in FPSes, but it never really works right.. It's like the game doesn't really like me doing it. Glad this one will let you stealth around and slowly pick off baddies.

Yuh huh.... I felt it too man...
Like in the Evening gameplay video, where the enemy mercenary's friend splotches blood out of his neck and dies when you shoot him and it takes him 3 seconds to react... and also blandly states "What was that?"
.......... Sure that's pretty realistic...

I had the same feeling to.
In the second to last movie, as the player was sniping and launching rockets or whatever those were, there was an NPC calmly looking at the river. Also, for some reason, I always have trouble being stealthy in the Far Cry games. I seem to get spotted instantly when moving through dense jungle, or when looking at a camp from a far distance. It might be that I have no clue as to how visible my body really is, but I think it has more to do with AI programing.
That being said, I am super hyped to try multi player and mess around with the level editor, so I probably won't have to spend to much time dealing with the AI.

Sublte nature sounds is another meaning for, play your own custom soundtracks while playing I guess from the developers... It's be pretty cool I guess to play something like death metal while blowing everything up! Not that I like death metal or anything.... It adds more to the do anything you want setting of the gameplay....

What a racist game. A white guy killing black guys in Africa? UNACCEPTABLE!

Looking at the gameplay, I think it's treading on a line between good game and disappointing game. It seems very lack luster while the idea of map editor and open world is the only thing keeping me optimistic. The AI seems a little dumb and as much as I like stealth, it didn't have enough action. I think stealthy-ness is more fun in 3rd person, then again CoD4 did it nicely in a few occasions. Maybe it's an early stage of the game or something.

It looks slick, but almost cartoony - which seems odd for the hyper-detailed graphic and lighting. I actually think the first one created a better atmosphere, though it's hard to tell without actually playing.

But don't get me wrong - as long as my laptop can muster up the stuff, which it should be able to since it had no problem running Bioshock, I certainly will be playing it.

I think it may indeed get lost in the avalanche we have coming up.
Its just not a big name, its been absolutely ages since the last one, and as good as it was it was just a simple FPS.
I enjoyed playing through it, but this sequel is on the "only if everything else surprisingly sucks" list.

Is it just me, or is anyone else not excited by those vids? They make the game look kinda boring.
