Oh man! Hey it's your boy, Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, and they got this game, right, for people who smoke, or people who drink -- like if you drink beer and you get drunk, or if you smoke weed and you get high -- and you just, anything, like, if you just be gettin' *bleep'd* up. They got this game, right, I don't know, this *bleep* called FEIST -- hold up! Watch this *bleep*. [Please press play on video player above.]
It's about this little guy in a black suit, and he walk around -- they ain't got no point to the game -- you just walk around jumpin' on *bleep*. It look like Mario in a *bleep'd* up dream. It's Mario as a fuzzy ball wit' lil stick arms and legs. And he just walk around jumpin' and *bleep* -- but what's the funny part about it ... it's Mac exclusive!

Looks sweet, pity there is no Windows Beta :(
Guess I'll have to wait for the real release.

ohh YES!
I was reading through the article, like "hmm, this looks pretty sweet. Too bad it's only on pc / wii / whatever - nobody ever makes these things for mac" and then I hit the end and it was like BAM.
Downloading now.
(This almost makes up for the lack of a mac peggle nights today - though I'd bet that's on it's way.)

Why are you giving Soulja Boy even more attention?

I dont know but its seems there is some underlying racial inside joke going on over at the Joystiq office.
As we all know certain urban even rural people irregardless of race, use slang and improper grammar.
So if the good folks like Mac at Joystiq dont want any personal problems, i suggest you cut the shit out. Quoting him etc...Hes no figure to be posted up repeatedly on games/ gaming! You know this...
Trust, that i and many others in my industry/circle reading this shit, have the time and the money to waste...
Just the quotes on Soulja kids...babble let me know something is up. Since when is he a fuckin critic worth listening to?
Cut the crap Mac...

It's pretty cool. There are 2 levels in the beta and I have no clue what I'm supposed to do, but it's fun.

Technically they are still giving him attention, so i agree with your first comment, even though the vid is strictly game play.

What is everyone's problem with this kid?
i think he's adorably hilarious...he's like a living cartoon character...he doesn't take himself too seriously, he's having fun..so why does everyone *else* take him so seriously? he makes harmless, bubblegum pop/rap music to go along with funny dances. what's the big deal? this is like everyone complaining about the boy band era in the last 90s early 2000s..are they making music for *you*? no?..then don't worry about it.
this is more of a general rant. sorry, veggie poo.

Macbook (non-Pro) users are pretty screwed, I've got the 2.0ghz core2 and I'm still only getting maybe 20 frames per second on lowest settings. It's playable I guess, but it's not much fun like this.
Le'sigh... Once again I get boned for trying to save that extra 1000 dollars. But I guess the two games I'm interested in aren't really worth the extra thousand. =P

That actually looks pretty fun. I hope someone does a PC port as I know no one who has a Mac whom I could just use to play this game. Also, something tells me Solja Boy failed English.

I vote that all game previews be written as Soulja Boy from now on.

You know, I was really on the fence between getting a PC or a Mac, but now THIS, THIS just makes the decision SO easy for me!

Yeah. You know you can play Flash games on a PC, too, right?

Dude, if you're on the fence, then there should be no choice. The reason that you are even contemplating a mac is because you want a stable, reliable system that takes the least amount of oversight from the user. Take the leap, get the closed system. It may make your life easier.
I, on the other hand, can't stand the concept of a closed PC architecture and would rather have some say in what hardware and software makes my machine work the way I want it to. But I'm a PC aficionado. As a mac user, you don't have to put up with "understanding" your machine. Steve Jobs has done that for you. Just don't hope for anything beyond what they've already done for you, and you'll be just fine.

I just played it on my iMac.
The game looks absolutely stunning on 1600X1050 resolution with the graphics turned all the way up. It's ridiculous.
Someone mentioned it reminding them of Fancy Pants: some of the run and jump elements really did remind me of it.
Try this game out if you've got a Mac. Definitely worth the time.
