American PSN releases for September 18th

Unlikely, the EU store has NBA Live 09 already, bit odd that we have it and a basketball-playing country doesn't!

I'll have to check the EU store then because I don't remember seeing it on the list.

I've been waiting for this game.

I was happy I got the day off so I could play it, but now....

I hated it.. But since it's free give it a try.

It was fun, the controls and music are spot on.

The terrain deformation mechanic was interesting and kind of fun to use. Some neat weapons (like the ST-4 "land torpedo"). I thought the controls were ok, but the graphics need a lot of work. They look really grainy and unpolished. I had a lot of graphical glitches running on the upper level of the jail cell rampways (looked like flickering between crouching while I was standing/running), and lip-synch wasn't great. Hopefully it's just a sign of the unfinished nature of the demo that will be cleaned up by release.

Not that I was even considering picking this title up anyway. Maybe if it were released in May when an average game like this might have had a chance...

Good question. I'll try to find out. Maybe they took some of my suggestions (for trophies and split screen multiplayer). Or not.

I doubt it will come out next week either, since WOHD is coming out next week.

I hope it's delayed for polish. Also, I don't know if the demo video was true to the game or not, but the frame rate looked terrible. I usually don't care about frame rates, but in flight sims it's gotta be high. Makes it hard to track targets when the frame rate is low.

I think that video might have been from the PC version, but the review also said that the game didn't live up to the HD PS3 games.

It's out, but you don't get it from the store. Just put your game disk in!
