I'll admit to having a man-crush on 'ol Uwe. There's something about being the guy that'll do anything and do it cheaper that I love. He'll take any project (now matter how terrible) and give it his own special brand of cinematic justice. Investors must love him. He can take your regular run-of-the-mill turd, throw some sequins on it, and sell it back for pennies of profit. Remember, you don't have to make to blockbuster to make a profit.

Uwe's never going away!

I hope this game sells a billion copies. Uwe Boll's a renegade - he's a doer, he's in the game. The people that have time to complain are on the sidelines, they're just watchers. Boll has no time for watchers; he poops in the mouths of watchers - that's why he rules; that's why he's superior.

So what they dont prepare me for is a helicopter crash, i thought at least it was going to be a alien invasion or a zombie war, buta helicopter crash, i think i would be prepared for that with all my videogame training over the past 16 years or so

That's a good point. Everytime I walk ouside, hell, everytime I wake up, I'm at least semi-prepared for a helicopter crash. If I were flying in a helicopter, I would expect to crash the whole time; I would be surprised at a safe landing.

I can't believe no ones mentioned this yet. The trailer says you're not prepared for something, then it cuts to a helicopter coming down? WHAT?

I was thinking like aliens or something.

Also, Max Strongman might be the greatest name since MST3K did that space movie with Santa.

Well, they never could have prepared you for a helo crashing. Unless you showed up for training. Then, yeah, not so shocking.

You know it's true, though. You can never prepare for a burning helicopter floating down to the ground at 10 frames per second. There's just not enough money or time to ever get truly ready for something of that scope and magnitude.

I'm surprised no one is mentioning the dramatic text on the bottom of the screen during the helicopter crash. It reads:

"They're here - the Hueys are here, man! I knew it, I knew this wasn't for long, I knew it couldn't be real! I'm going home man, I'm going home!"

Can't you just taste the emotional drama? The heartbreak? Just when they think they're going home... BOOOM!

Man I'm getting chills...

That game does not look half bad. In fact I think it looks pretty kick ass. Keyword: LOOKS.
We'll see how things pan out though. This is "you-know-who" we're talking about after all...

i feel bad for anyone and everyone who has their name attached to a uwe boll project.

I even feel bad for the people who have to simply experience them, yet alone put hard work into them.

I know it's against the cool internet kid code but hey this doesn't look to bad and if Uwe Boll is making a movie based on his own material, on which he has an understanding , it probably won't be bad. Yes I hate Uwe Boll movies, but he actually has a chance here.

Yes start the flaming...

I struggle to believe this is real. I have a feeling Uwe has been setting the entire world up for some sort of massive Rick Roll. Maybe at the end of one of these tunnels?
