Canadian retailer FutureShop has bundled a pair of titles, valued at $99, with every purchase of an Arcade or 60GB Xbox 360 console. For a limited time Gears of War and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be included with each console purchase. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is the key title included in this bundle as it has just been released and is receiving mostly positive buzz.
Buyers note that the version of Gears of War included in the bundle appears to be the original version and not the recently released special edition which includes new multiplayer maps among other treats.

Star wars getting positive reviews? Sure, they're not terrible reviews, but everyone's been saying that the game is bland and not Star Wars-like.
Anyways, I've never gotten more buyers remorse than when I bought my 360. Within 2-3 months, they lower the price, add 40 more GB, and give you 2 games that I was planning on buying (ok, I didn't really want Star Wars) too. I would've saved at least $200+ if I would have waited.
Oh well.

Gears is indeed the old version, a specific edition marked "not for resale".
My recommendation with this deal: Go to the nearest Future Shop that is out of one of the titles, find a nice clerk and ask them if they can substitute one or both of the games. Worked for me last week when it was Gears and Dead Or Alive Extreme 2 free with it; got myself Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise and Tony Hawk Project 8 instead.

I wish this deal was in the U.S. I'd pick up an arcade with the two games for an interim system while my elite is in MS sickbay.
