Absolutely one of the most quality-packed release week ever, with or without My Japanese Coach (give it a few days and we'll know whether the later release date is official or not.)

Disgaea is in the mail; I was one of the lucky ones who managed to get it from Rosenqueen while they still had the Prinny stylus bonus. Normally I'd be getting Rhapsody, Time Hollow, and Kirby too, but there are so many things coming out in October and November that I'm going to have to wait until next year for these.

That's the exact same list that I'm planning to pick up! I managed to get the disgaea/Rhapsody bundle that comes with an extra figure too, so hopefully that will show up in a few days. A very good week indeed

Amazon will not get My Japanese Coach until October 14.

If I can buy this now, then I'm buying it ASAP. Can someone confirm the release date???

I will check my local Gamestop (closest video game store).

Peace.

Aside from what might be viewed as obvious picks, I'm very interested in the Hamtaro game.
I played all localized GB and GBA games, and they were all good, at the very least.

I love Hamtaro games, but this one is a learning game for young children. You know, solve basic math problems and things like that. It doesn't sound as much fun as the other Hamtaro games, sadly.

Every time I stumble upon this release list, I keep finding something new and exciting. I wish I had the funds to buy all the ones I want.

Oh well.

I've been interested in trying out a Disgaea game for a while. If I get this, will I be totally lost?

It's not a continuation in the series, but a remake of the original, graphically downscaled for the DS with an extra mode or two. If you're not as interested in portability as you are in just being able to play Disgaea, there's a Player's Choice copy of the PS2 version for $20 (long overdue because the original was impossible to find on shelves and horribly price-gouged secondhand.)

Only game on that list I want is Disgaea DS and it will probably be the last game I buy for a while.

Sonic Chronicles in Europe? Neat.

I can't wait to here if it's actually good.

I'm just mad because Disgaea DS is a port of the PSP Disgaea, which was a port of the PS2 Disgaea. And I already have a copy of PSP Disgaea.

Ah well, at least I figured it out before I bought the game. Reading game reviews is good!

I can not believe some people in this comments section do not plan on buying Kirby Superstar Ultra! The original was hands-down the best Kirby co-op game (if not the best Kirby game) and one of the best games released for SNES. If you don't already own it, you BETTER buy this remake or I'll come to your house and hurt you.

...Aside from shilling, what is with that "Players' Crossing" sign that NISA keeps putting on their boxart, anyway?

(I sure wish I'd sold my PS2 copy of Disgaea before it went Player's Choice!)

Well, it had the best graphics, but dear gods was it freakishly easy. Personally, I preferred Kirby Dream Land 3.

Dreamland 3 was definitely good, but not nearly as fun, especially not with two players. An amazingly objective analysis I know ;)

And you're right about it being tougher as well -- as long as you don't bother going for 100% on the Treasure Cave Offensive, or beating Expert-level Meta Knight on Samurai Kirby. Then I'd say KSS edges it out. Just barely.

I'm declaring shenanigans!

The store I visited today said the release date is mid-October (as does Amazon.com).

And Ubisoft doesn't even list My Japanese Coach as being available on their website (the best evidence).

Until I see proof, I'm grabbing a broom and declaring shenanigans.

Peace.
