Wow, Capcom should be slapped in the face. they removed a move Megaman had in Megaman 3 so that they could charge for it. kinda lame. IMO the game itself should be $5, so this makes me MegaMad (HA! see what I did there?)

slap in the face = do not buy

I forgive them, though, because BC:R is such a great value... MM9 seems more like "hey, we found this old unreleased ROM.. should we just chuck it?" "aww hell naw, we can sell it!"

yeah Id like to see more rehashes like BC. Sure I love the originals, but not on the HDTV... makes my eyes hurt.

Bring on the NES revival!

I know I'm going against the majority here, but... they were trying to model the game after MM2, as they thought it was the most popular incarnation. That doesn't mean I agree with them charging 2 bucks for it, but I don't necessarily disagree with their decision to keep charge shot and sliding out of the main game.

The game is going to struggle to make money according to the Capcom guy on Playstation Blog.. He says the game took a lot longer to 'get the feel of the originals down' or something like that, increasing development costs... I'll support the DLC out of sheer love of this new direction for Capcom, and I want to see them continue.

Hopefully this DLC route won't grow exponentially though.

See, this is what makes me mad. They have the game completed and ready to go, but then add DLC for a price with little or no time at all. This is ridiculous. You're charging me more for something you could have put in the game for no extra charge? Thats like taking out the ability to even use your weapon in the game and charge you to buy as DLC. What a joke.

I can understand developing additional items maybe a few months down the line, like more maps for CoD 4. Even then, the devs could just make all the maps for the game, take out 8 and systematically sell those however they see fit to get even more cash out of the consumer.

Yeah this is almost as bad as EA trying to charge money for weapons on BF:BC. Actually it's worse since MM3 onwards, you could do a charge shot.

Maybe this should be Megaman 2.5.

Maybe it IS Mega Man 2.5.. They wouldn't ever admit to that if it were, though.

No slide or charge = no buy for me. Those are essential parts of the move lineup, and make the character. That's like taking away Mario's ability to duck.

Actually, I don't mind two bucks for an "easy" mode. I have 200 wii points lying around, and Jem IS telling the truth I AM dying for an easy mode.

they only get away with it coz people go out and buy it regardless, its not about the price but the principle, if everyone just refused to buy it they would have to rethink there dodgy schemes
