The basic mechanic in Koinu de Kururin involves lining puppies up with doghouses of the same color. All puppies of the same color will then disappear single-file into the doghouse. Big combos allow players, in the guise of the super-cute chibi dog of their choice, to unleash "Kururin Smash" attacks that cover up the other player's screen or drop items.
