VECTORMAN's cool and all(came a bit late in the SEGA Genesis' lifepsan); but SUPER DODGEBALL is the reason why some of these VC games need online play. :\

But it's Nintendo, so I'm not exactly holding my breath that anything remotely close will occur in the near future.

Part of their policy against modifying the older games, sadly

Unless, of course, said older games (waverace 64) would involve paying royalties to companies central to those games (yamaha), then they're totally cool with editing them

If you can dodge a Metal Blade, you can dodge a ball. (hurls large razor-sharp gears at players, is instantly disqualified)

I love Vectorman, but 800 points? 8 bucks for a completely unchanged Genesis port? The XBLA version of Golden Axe added online play and it was still only $5.

Yeah I'd easily pay $5 for this on XBLA, it was a great game with great graphics (for the time). Sadly I'd probably also pay $10.

Now when is Sega bringing Gunstar Heroes HD Remix for the XBLA?

If VC Super Dodgeball had online play, I'd go out and re-buy a Wii, and several others to give to friends that would want to play me online. Can anyone confirm if Super Dodgeball keeps the glitchy blinking graphics intact?

Sprite clipping and slowdown has been retained in all games, to my knowledge. Otherwise, how would I be able to beat Gradius III?

It is exactly like the original, glitchly and classic. I picked it up last night along with Mega Man 9.

Vectorman is so good. My fondest memories of Toys R Us is standing at the Sega Genesis and playing Vectorman. Brilliant game. Simply brilliant.

It's part of a series. There's a DS version. There was a GBA version. There are a lot of versions of Super Dodge Ball. They are all good.

It does have a remake: Super Dodgeball Brawlers. Been playing it on the DS for over a month now and love it.

Vectorman is SCREAMING for a remake a la Bionic Commando Rearmed. Could you even imagine how great it would be?! Brb, I've got a boner now.

Wow, as cool as MM9 is, I'll actually take both of these games over it. Vectorman was awesome and I sunk in countless with friends during NES all-nighters playing Super Dodge Ball.

I HATE VECTORMAN!!!

My two best friends won the $10,000 from the Sweepstakes things with their lucky cartridge. I wasn't there when they beat the game and didn't get any $$$ love!

Bastards!
