If this game didn't have the Star wars franchise slap on it, it would have been destroyed by reviews and ignored by the gamers.

If it didn't have the star wars name, it would've been mistaken for God of War 3.

I loved this game! But after beating it for the third time, it gets kind of boring. Glad I only rented it.

Anyone else think that the environments were impressive?

Yeah. The SW:TFU landscape design (and the gallery artwork) was pretty slick, clipping issues aside. Cloud City Bespin and the latter part of Imperial Raxus Prime being the most notable.

I don't remember a 70% means that a game was a failure..... But it sure wasn't the game everyone wanted it to be.

I, after actually playing through it, can say, yes this game has a lot of flaws. Like, how the foes will constantly gang bang you the moment you fall prone. God help you if you don't push the button for a quick recover, because then you will take your sweet time getting off the ground, only to get knock down AGAIN, before your done. In most cases, this process will repeat until you die. So imagine at full health how you will feel.

Then the actual lightsaber combo system, Sure you can "grind" to get the epic 10 button long combos, to bad they don’t work on anyone that wouldn't normally die in 3 hits, like BOSSES. I found out early, that the best combos, where any of the 4 button combos that ended with Y "Triangle" for the lightning blade of awesome. It did good damage, it stunned even bosses, and best of all, IT ACTUALLY WORKED ON THEM!.

Then, the fact that Starkiller can't actually block shots well, "unless you upgrade “ How foes 8 feet tall and up have a stomp attack, which, will knock you prone. “Look above to see what can happen when you get knocked prone.”

Needless to say, I still had great amounts of fun, since you can always throw a large rock at people. “This doesn’t work on bosses, many of the boss fights where horrible, the alien with the spider droid arms on the junk planet being the worse.” To me, throwing and shocking people to death made this game quite enjoyable “or both with lightning rocks, because rocks conduct force lightning”. If only the focus on making the entire game like that, where it was just you, and using your force powers to kick everyone’s ass.

Wait, wasn’t that the point of this game? I hope they use the technology on other games though.

I rented it for Wii and got through it in 7 hrs. Definitely not worth the $50 purchase, but well worth the rental.

The graphics were subpar (expected...), but the ability to toss storm troopers aside with my nunchuck was surprisingly sweet. I will have to agree that the camera was pretty annoying most of the way through, but it actually never caused my death, by enemy or by falling off a cliff.

So yeah, I think it's definitely worth the rental. And I'm glad it has done well! I'd like to see a sequel (somehow) that bakes a bit longer in the oven...

Finally, the masses agree with me.
The game is fun, but not that good.
(Why do I say finally? Because I've been pointing out the flaws in CoD4 and BF2 and a bunch of other games that no one seems to care to acknowledge)

Leave it alone!!! Who cares if the game sold well and people loved it!! Let them be happy with it. Just cause YOU didn't enjoy it doesn't mean crap. In fact, NONE of us still know who you are. So stop your conceited rants, and thinking you know everything and let someone enjoy their moment instead of trying to ruin it because YOU aren't happy.

side note...BannanaBoat...did you seriously say that you didn't like this game because it was for young boys...then half a breath later say that you were upset you couldn't play Little Big Planet today? HUH?!?!?! At least in Star Wars there's bad guys and killing and destruction. You'll probably assume I'm lying or making crap up, but one of my friends is a Tester with Sony (absolutely true) and he's already been telling me what a HUGE disappointment LBP is. You create little worlds and invite friends to beat them...but past that..NOTHING. I haven't played it, but from what it sounds like...it's a wasted hyped-up game. HOWEVER, no matter how much he and I think it's a worthless pile of crap...if you like it...enjoy yourself....I'm happy for you. Just stop being so damn negative towards everyone else's happiness (not just you...but everyone else as well) I'm glad you have your opinion, but why not keep it to yourself...a free blog doesn't mean you HAVE to be a jerk.

Love this game!

Sure the graphics and sounds arent as great as the X360 or PS3 but I dont care, the gameplay is incredible. I'm having lots of fun with it but I still have two complains:

1- camera movements arent always good and actually got on my nerves a couple of times. The character gets stuck behind something and you dont see anything... pretty annoying.

2- too short. They levels should have been at least twice as big and have more "missions".
