Is Burnout worth buying? I ask this from both a money and trophy perspective.

I enjoy playing games offline to be honest, this is mainly due to a time issue. Playing online can get pretty hard for me.

Are the trophies tough to obtain online? About how much time do you have to spend online to get trophies?

Nice update :)

It's an excellent game, and I don't really like racing games at all.. $30 is a steal, but that's the price for the disc version too.. I prefer discs, myself. But anyhow, the online is seamless - you can be playing offline, then with a couple button presses, you're in a game with friends or random people, instantly. It's really quite good. I don't know about the trophies yet, since they just came out.

It's also great for people that don't do much online because the online is very layed back. it's much more like hanging out and messing around online than pure hardcore racing. great way to meet people

Wow... This means that Mega Man is exclusive for PS3 in Europe at the moment. That's cool. (Couldn't find on the UK Wii channel yet and the X360 version comes out on the 1st.)

Snow (or anyone else), how big is Wipeout? Hope it doesn't take up too much space on my 60 gigger.

Also, how big is Megaman/Megaman demo? I'm curious as to whether the size is comparable to an NES ROM, or whether it's bloated from modern programming.

Last, anyone know whether the disc version of Burnout requires an install?

Rush is a prog rock group, and Moving Pictures is one of their albums. Huge in the 70s and 80s. Very influential. Geddy Lee looks kinda creepy.

They've had a couple of songs in Rock Band and previous Guitar Hero's.

Bit surprised at burnout's price, much cheaper to buy second blu-ray...

Now, do i DL the Mercs demo first or get straight into playing wipeout? hmm...

Ugh what a complete rip-off Burnout is, the US store its $30, and here its £25!!!!! It should be £20 at the absolute maximum and really closer to £17.

No thanks, I'll just get the disc version as you can get it new for £20 now.

Well if you got a friend or two who also wants Burnout Paradise you can install the PSN download up to five times. And thus split the cost between you. This is probably not even against the license of the PSN content as I remember it being promoted as one of the hidden treasures of the PSN Store by the Official Playstation Magazine here in the UK.

heads up for u american folk

wipeout has a really bad freeezing issue, it locks up ur whole ps3

a TEMP fix for this is to play signed out of the PSN, obviously this means you cant play online

some people on the uk forum have managed to get online working but they where the lucky few
