And not like how we have a "job" in the industry. This one might actually bring joy into the lives of others! "I think this game can definitely help people get jobs in the industry," Media Molecule's co-founder and LittleBigPlanet's art director, Kareem Ettouney, recently told VentureBeat."Imagine a guy going into a job with five levels of LittleBigPlanet and you get to play his creation."
Having been "blown away" by the varied creations that flooded out of Parsons New School of Design earlier this week, Ettouney explained that LittleBigPlanet's shared level building could provide a way for upcoming game designers to become known and appreciated -- or feared, in our case. "People know his levels and know his name," he said, suggesting that aspiring designers would walk into a job interview, already known. "We hope LittleBigPlanet plays a part in getting new game developers jobs and also making them stars."
You hear that, Dad? This guy says we can get a job by playing a game! And you said it was just a waste of time.

Step 1: Have your customers create content for the product you're selling them.

Seriously are you all retarded or something? where does it say that LBP alone will land you a job, he obviously means it as a folio stuffer and trust me there is weirder shit people do to standout when it comes to that, even more so when they are fresh out of school.
In no way would it hurt your chances in an interview by having LBP levels to show, it could only help/put you in front of other candidates(unless they sucked)
It shows what you are able to create within limitations.
You sure as fuck won't get anywhere if LBP is all you have to show.
Any design/creative could use LBP level in their folio and it would help

**Begins the Slow Clap** for Marty.
I love how people get riled up, when someone cuts to the point and states the obvious. Gj, Marty, basically what you said is true...
