How much is the original alone?

I mean I could go to Gamestop, preorder the game for 5 bucks, get code, not buy the game, transfer the 5 to GoW2... ???

You may not get the $5 back, not sure though.

Even if this plan worked, you'd still miss out on the full experience. Stop N Swop is finally being realized and the only way to activate it is by using BK3's achievements.

Nice, this is going to be sweet. Hopefully the graphics will hold up. Does anyone know if the original supported widescreen displays?

The original game didn't, but I was reading this at Gamerbytes: http://www.gamerbytes.com/2008/09/banjo_kazooie_preview.php

It's a hands on preview with it and specifically mentions it runs in widescreen. Obviously the resolution is increased and the antialiasing is improved... but I guess they've also redone all of the text and HUD graphics, fixed the framerate issues and pushed back the fog the original game used.

Good find Tony, that makes this even more exciting.

When is the code sent to you? Is it on the day that Nuts & Bolts releases or do you get it when you preorder?

They confirm Scandinavia but not Canada?

No... go back and read carefully (or, read more?). You'll note that they did confirm that Canada will be getting the deal, but they hadn't confirmed specific retailers.

lol, perhaps you should read less and learn to write more then ;) If you go back and read your very short sentence that really doesn't leave any room for misinterpretation you'll note that you mention countries only but say nothing about stores.

So... regarding "no duh", you're a poor communicator buddy!

For what it's worth, Zavvi and HMV are both advertising the preorder bonus on their sites for UKers. Respective links at http://www.zavvi.co.uk/banjo+kazooie-Banjo-Kazooie-Nuts-And-Bolts/869209/q.r10.1/p.jsf and http://hmv.com/hmvweb/simpleSearch.do?searchUID=&pGroupID=-1&adultFlag=false&primaryID=-1&simpleSearchString=banjo+kazooie&btnSubmitSearch.x=0&btnSubmitSearch.y=0

From what looking around I've done Zavvi is the cheapest right now.

@flameofdoom666,

You live in a state that Amazon has a physical presence in. On the internet, sales tax is only charged when you happen to be in the same state the business in question is operating in.

I was going to just buy the original game, but with the $15 price, I figure that Nuts and Bolts has to be worth the extra $22. (Pre-)ordered.

When I first read that this would be $40 in the US with the pre-order bonus, I hoped that it would be a similar price in the UK, but as it's going to be £40, I doubt i'll be pre-ordering it, probably just buy the original off XBLA! I hate the difference in price!
