Street Fighter IV box art features Chun-Li

Sorry to disappoint you, thick-leg fetishists, but only Chun-Li's trunk is on display in the North American box, her massive thighs having apparently been buried in the ground to provide additional stability for her hefty wrist spikes and hair buns. You can check the whole box out in excruciating detail at Capcom's site.

The European version opts to promote Ryu (much to Ken's chagrin, we're sure) but he looks a bit ... muppety for our tastes. Which one do you fellas and ladies prefer?

Anyways this game is not a game I'm looking forward to. Art style is fugly and the character design is lacking.

Maybe Capcom will give me what I want with SF5...15 years from now probably...

Thats just your opinion, I think the game looks B-E-A-utiful and its one of mine and my friends most anticipated titles for sure.

Yeah the game looks gorgeous and screw Cammy(literally) but why isn't Ken on the box? RYU for Europe Ken for America makes perfect harmony for me.

Man why have I been agreeing with Fenix so much lately.

This is the one thing I can agree with AzureKnight on, I'm not too fond of the visual style this game has taken. But that's just me.....and AzureKnight. :)

I think the Chun-Li face looks better. But the overall Ryu pic is cooler. I like the swirling effect around his hands. But the muppety face, as it was pointed out, does bring it down a notch, putting it in second place.

Regardless, I don't LOVE either of them. But they're fine. I'm in it for the game anyways. I'll probably pick this up once it drops to a $40 price range. I'd hate to pay $60 for an updated version of a game I played 15 years ago in the arcade.

I think Ryu is a better pick for the cover, he was always the staple main character in my eyes. However he looks a bit ugly here, and the North American version makes much better use of space, size and colors, so I'd have to go with that one.

I like the overall art style and change in look,.... but you gotta admit Ryu has a weird looking face when compared to previous game drawings...

Everytime I see the Chun Li art the more it grows on me. I think it's safe to say the Ryu art looks like shit.

Not at all. I didn't get MGS4 because I don't have a PS3 yet. Not many things can sour a boner faster than an old dude with crow's feet, but we all know that guns are an acceptable alternative to boobs here in America. It would indeed be socially acceptable to be seen buying the GUNS of the Patriots.
