Who knows it could still be an ODST mission pack. Think about it, lower the shields, speed and jumping abilities. add in 3 d-pad commands. It could be the rumored GRAW ODST game. Those looked like the ODST drop pods, and there was a video about the first ODST marines to hit new mombasa when the covenant attacked.

In the Halo 3 Mythic expansion pack, you play the role of the Superintendent, who must now clean up New Mombasa after the mess the Covenant Wars left behind. Special abilities include being able to dual-wield a broom and a dustpan. Keep it clean.

obviously its not a mp add on cuz it says new campaign experience sooo that might help sum of you i just hope the release date is correct cuz i cant wait !! ps i hope the battle rifle will be a single shot post on bungie for game ideas if you agree !!!!

The ship seen floating past the building on the right side of the screen after about 7 seconds is Regrets flagship from Halo 2.

The big white explosion is the ship making a slip-space jump away from the planet, which means that it takes place after the MC leaves earth so my guess is that he will not be in the expansion

Just a thought, here. Maybe this will add a new perspective, and "Finish the Fight" on the comments section. ;-)

In the "Comm Logs" that were posted, it states that someone is asking for a squad.

I haven't noticed anything regarding Master Chief. And as far as I've read on Bungie's end and all the interviews I've seen, the Master Chief's story is done. They're moving on.

Therefore, due to the aforementioned "Comm Logs" reference to a squad, I would say that this is indeed a squad-based game. Since it has been announced that this will be an expansion pack for Halo 3, my guess is that the expansion could be an entirely new game. It just runs on the Halo 3 game engine. Which ensures that you will have to buy Halo 3 if you don't have it already. It's downloadable content only. So you'll HAVE to get X-Box Live (which Microsoft has been fighting tooth and nail to make sure everyone HAS to get Live, one way or another) and then you probably have to dish out like $50-75 for the expansion.

I really don't care about the campiagn update although it's nice that bunie is updateing other things besides Matchmaking. The thing I really want to come out is the Mythic map pack. I wonder how they're going to expand the story.

This expanision could be far larger than we expect.It could begin during the battle at New Mombasa and then carry on through the events that we missed, in the middle of Halo2's conclusion and Halo 3's beginning.
Finnaly we might be able to take part in that epic scale battle talked about in the Halo Believe Trailers!!!
