Hmm, methinks Wahlberg won't be crawling around medicine cabinets looking for pills to replenish his health...

Ive seen the trailer and this movie actually looks great, and it wasn't because it was rated R. Who cares what the movie is rated, if the actors/actresses/director do a good job at telling a story why does it matter what it is rated? Makes me wonder if you are only going to see it so you can brag to your friends about going to an R rated movie or because you like to watch good cinema.

guys it looks good. go see it.

To get it PC-13 all they probably did was cut out a lot of cursing and edited some scenes so you don't see as much blood/gore. it'll still be good. and it'll make more money this way.

And then when in the gamers edition we get the more gory version of the movie. i'm happy with this.

I don't think the director actually removed much at all from the original film in order to make it PG-13. What he really did was fight the rating that was already placed on the footage he had decided on. As of late, a PG-13 movie is stretched very, very far. It's certainly not the same that it used to be. As was mentioned in the article, look at Dark Knight! I mean, burn victims aside, it was a really dark (no pun intended), intense film. I enjoyed it as much as any rated-R movie, and from what I've seen from the Max Payne trailers, it'll definitely offer more than enough to satisfy most fans of the series. So what if there's no blood -- so long as people are getting shot, that's well and good enough to satisfy my bloodthirst. ;-)

What I want to know is will there ever be another Max Payne game? Its one of the greatest games I've ever played its tied with Rainbow Six Vegas and COD4.I read an article online that said Max Payne could have sold more copies but it was ahead of its time.

Anyone who complains about those people concerned about the PG-13 rating clearly never understand. When the source material is dark, mature and violent, of course there's going to be some level of uneasiness. No fan wants to see a dumbed down pedestrian hack job.
