If you are one of the many several people dying (or, in this case, undying) to waggle your way through the GameCube remake of Resident Evil on Wii, well, you're pretty much dead out of luck. Capcom biz dev boss, Christian Svensson, relayed news via the company's forums that the game, scheduled to release in Japan on Dec. 25, will likely stay there.
Responding to a question about the likelyhood that this Wiimake would come Stateside given that the Wii port of Resident Evil Zero didn't, Svensson explained that, "In Japan, Zero sold well," adding, "This project is a reaction to [sales] of Zero [there]." He didn't rule out a domestic release of the port, but did say that, "At the moment, like Zero, this is Japan only. That could change but that's the current situation." Fire up the Petitionator! Actually, on second thought ... nah. There are better things to do.
