I really can't wait for this game to come out, if only to resolve all the bullshit that's being said about it

It comes out, we have the full game, we have a few rant threads (or surprise praise threads), people get the games "point" and then it'll all be resolved

The only thing i don't get is it seems the notes are fairly random. Yes, I'm sure there is a way to change the pitch up or down, but im a little skeptical about how this will work.

Honestly, im looking forward to the new Wii Sports, if for anything but the Waverace-like mini game and the free motion plus that I hope I'll be using on the next Zelda or Star Wars game WINK WINK nintendo and lucasarts WINK WINK.

That doesn't sound like a banjo, it sounds like a western tuned shamisen. And look, it doesn't matter what Shiggy says, waving a Wii remote to a rhythm doesn't teach you how to play guitar, just like playing Guitar Hero doesn't teach you how to play guitar. I still don't get why there haven't been game developers that will make an instructional game for actually learning how to play guitar, or the drums, or a saxophone, or whatever. Sure, Guitar Hero may be great while you're in middle school, but how will that increase your chances with the ladies in high school? Learn how to play guitar, get into a band. Cripes, these people talk as if they're bridging some sort of gap, but they're not. I look at Wii Music and Rock Band as ways avoiding real instruments rather than inspiring people to learn.
