They often take a while to show up. Sometimes they show up, and next time you access the page they don't again. Sometimes this can persist for a long period of time. Somtimes your message will be posted two or more times. Sometimes it will appear as a reply to the wrong person.

The comment system here is frustrating. =)

Um, also, if you use the greater then/less then signs (commonly used for html tags), (or hearts)

Such as I _3 new york.

It sometimes acts weird.

Also I've heard joystiq hates j- a- p- a- n-

...and sometimes the order of comments travels back in time so it's 1,3,2 etc.

Here's the more recent example:

For such a popular gaming blog, it's baffling how long Joystiq has let this comment system suck the big one. It'll never steer me away, because I love the community and snark, but please for the love of god fix it, Joystiq.

I preordered because I figure that $36.99 for both games is better than spending $15 for BK or $40 for Nuts and Bolts.

This game looks beautiful, i just wish it was more platforming and less driving...still beautiful!

Anyway, does anyone know if I Pre-Order this at GameStop now, would i get the pre-order bonus? I know that you get the game 2 weeks before it releases but i wanna know if there is a date they are starting the Pre-Order bonus or if i can do it now.

Gonna look around and see if any support it in Australia...

This'll be the first game I'll ever have preordered if there's any stores that support it (I want free Banjo Kazooie!)

I'll be preordering. I liked the original games and my girlfriend LOVES them so we'll have a pretty good time, and $36 for two games is a pretty good deal.

Why did they have to make Banjo and Kazooie so dumb looking in this game? Bears aren't square :(

Do they normally wear pants and have large bird in backpacks?

But, yeah, the change is character design is a bit odd... doesn't bother me though.

I'm guessing that the squarish look has something to do with the mechanical theme of the game and will likely be explained.

I was tempted when I heard about the updated original being offered as a pre-order bonus. I was sold when I found out that the game was $36 on Amazon.

$40=40 pounds?
That one doesn't make sense at all.
It should be like 40USD/40EUR/30GBP (even less in EUR actually but it usually goes like 1:1 compared with the USD).

Why is Microsoft re-using everything from the past that was successful instead of making something innovative and new?

Like how Nintendo is still using Mario, Sony is still making Metal Gear games? etc.. That is seriously one of the poorest fanboy attempts at bashing I've ever heard.

Why not bring back an uber popular character from a few years back. Infact, when you report back to Sony, ask them make a next gen vesion of Medievil.

...because retro sells(look at the sales of Castle Crashers and BC:Rearmed)?

If you're looking for something new, there's still Fable 2!

If anyone relies on the past to sell current games, it's Nintendo. You know if you want something new and innovative from Microsoft, go play Too Human. Well it's not really innovative...or uhh...good, but hey it's new!

MGS wasn't dead for 10 years ... But suddenly they start remaking every damn good game from the last age.

And yes, I'm looking at Microsoft, suddenly they start producing remakes and sequels to old games. I'm just trying to figure out why they don't just make new games. One or two remakes, fine, but this is going nuts

I'm actualy forgetting Metal Gear 2, but that's still an eight year gap. And besides, how many other franchises can you name that Microsoft are doing like this? I'm sure you can name just as many for Sony, and a ridiculous amount for Nintendo.

New and innovative is great, but retro/nostalgic is good too. Besides, in this case they've brought Banjo back, but completely changed the gameplay and put a focus on new next gen elements like creation and customisation. One of the biggest complaints this game has been recieving is that this ISN'T just the same old Banjo.

Call me crazy but i think it is very similar to the old banjo. When you see a jiggy in the old game you would search for bottles or jamjars to teach you a move so that you could get to it. Same in the new game except instead of new moves you would get new parts for your vehicle.
But i guess i could be totally wrong.

It seems to be focusing on both platforming and creativity, which, if done well... could be a stunning success. Especially considering Rare's core talent disappeared when they were bought by Microsoft.

Oh, and get this: Remember that "Stop n' Swop" thing that never really panned out? Find the stuff in Banjo-Kazooie, and it unlocks stuff in Nuts and Bolts.
