Bleszinski: Definitely no Gears of War 2 on the PC

During an interview with TVG, Mr. Epic himself, Cliff Bleszinski revealed that they have absolutely no plans to release Gears of War 2 to the PC due, in part, to the fact that the PC market has been dealing with piracy issues.

"Here's the problem right now; the person who is savvy enough to want to have a good PC to upgrade their video card, is a person who is savvy enough to know bit torrent to know all the elements so they can pirate software," explained Bleszinski, "it makes sense for us to focus on Xbox 360 for a number of reasons." And when bluntly asked whether Gears 2 would ever see a PC release, Cliff answered with a simple "no". When pressed further if that was a definite decision, Bleszinski stuck to his answer reiterating that Gears 2 would not see a PC release.

All the pc fans who think its actually coming and that this is a marketing ploy, is stupid, gears on pc sold like absolute garbage, a few months after pc release they even came out and said that if they made another gears it would not release on pc.

I think he is right about the piracy, Xbox all the way! :P

Actually, I'm glad they came out with Gears for PC. I got to learn how to use the Unreal Engine 3 a little. I had a lot fun with it. It had an extra 'Act' and 3 exclusive maps plus a map editor. I enjoyed the map editor, modding, and playing on custom maps. The graphics on Gears for pc are phenominal and the gameplay @60 fps, was major. I did notice some glitches on the campaign they never got around to, for example, the Gatling Gun(whatever you call it) kept getting me stuck on it and i couldn't move and had to restart. It happened to me at least a dozen times. Besides that it was another awesome experience just like on the xbox. Thank you Epic and I know you are going to make another great game on the neXbox just like Gears PC, can't wait.
