DS releases for the week of September 29th

While it's nothing like last week's amazing array of releases, there's a lot for DS owners to be excited about when it comes to the new releases. Not only is the long-awaited Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood finally set to debut in the U.S., but there are some other jewels out this week, as well. Here in the States, we've got Princess Debut and Unsolved Crimes, and Europe finally sees the release of Prey the Stars. We're jealous.

Can we get a review of Sonic Chronicles, the reviews have been somewhat mixed and I'm curious to read what you guys think.

Just find a review site you tend to agree with and see what they say.

My drug of choice is RPG Fan. And they seemed to love it, so it is fairly likely that I will enjoy it.

And the rule is anything at 60 or better on MetaCritic is worth checking out. And Sonic Chronicles is at....78 I think. So that's promising.

78 on Metacritic for a DS game is nothing to sneeze at. There seems to be a handheld tax on review scores.

Here's a quick review of Sonic, it's crap. Feels like a budget title, really, some of the sloppiest programming I've seen on the DS to date. Bad transitions, framerate problems, horrible sound effects in battles, sloppy and inconsistent graphic work (especially the 2d stuff for the menus and "tutorials"). It could turn out to be a decent game, but I won't be able to bring myself to find out.

That was the best review of screenshots of a game I have ever read.

isn'y My Japanese Coach coming out on the 30th as well? i think it was pushed forward form the 23rd.

Just picked up Sonic Chronicles today. I got a hold of all three special styli too. They aren't that great, and don't look like they'll fit in the DS' stylus holder, but still.
I have to beat WarioWare: Touched! and Metroid Prime: Hunters before I start playing Sonic though. Just on of my habits: beat the games I haven't beaten before starting a new one.
