BioShock goes gold, cue Rapture-ous applause
It's been a long time coming. After a year of jealously looking over the shoulder of our Xbox 360 owning pals, PS3 owners finally get their turn to visit Rapture.
BioShock for the PS3 has now gone gold, which means that the code has been locked down and sent to be manufactured. Still not sure whether the game is worth your time, despite the critical acclaim? Check out the demo which will be going live this Thursday on the PSN Store.
Don't forget, the game will be launching with trophies (check out the
full list,
unless you're spoilerphobic) and will feature post-launch DLC. This will take the form of various challenge rooms, where you will need to solve various puzzles in order to protect precariously placed Little Sisters. Now that the game has gone gold, we'd be surprised if it misses its October 21st (US) and 17th (internationally) release date. Will you be picking up a copy?
