Brett Ratner sucks. This movie will be horrible if he is the director. And if you say any of his movies are good, you have no taste.

He's not a complete hack, I really liked both Red Dragon (don't say Ed Norton directs himself) and The Family Man. If he has a strong enough cast he can pull off GoW.

Ed Norton DOES direct himself though. Look at the new Hulk movie, it was awful apart from when Norton was on screen.

This guy is good he made X-men:3 and also the one that made the rush hour series, also musical videos I think he is ok

that movie was AWFUL. also, he'll probably cast Vin Diesel as Kratos, just cause he kinda sorta looks the part, despite the fact he can't act.

Okay here's the thing. Even if the Quality of the movie is okay, or even by a stretch of the immagination good, it won't be GoW by any means. Like all others Ratner has done, it's going to get butchered to death and won't have anything to do with the story. X3 Ring any bells? I think the quality of the movie will be good, but don't expect much of a story. Don't expect much of anything except Possibly a good cast, and some flashy effects.....

Okay guys and gals, I'm going to give my opinion. This is coming from someone that actually writes and produces films. I'm very happy with Brett as the director. He did direct XMen 3, which I'll defend my decision by saying I enjoyed it. Anyone that casts Ellen Page as an XMen doesn't have complete bad taste. Sorry, didn't enjoy Ben Aflect as Daredevil. I need more than that. A lot of fans were upset because some of our heros bit the dust. Being a comic book fan, that happens a lot and don't mean they have to stay dead. Jean Grey film anyone? Yes, it's in talks. And for all the bashers out there that thinks Brett is horrible, what do you guys think of the GOW television commercials with Kratos. I always thought they were well done with someone that actually resembles Kratos. Guess who directs them? Brett Ratner does.

Okay guy, I hate to be negative, but for a writer, you sure can't write. I understand that most internet posts are lacking in good grammar or clarity of thought, but this one takes the cake. You'd think an pretentious writer would have a little more self-respect about, you know, writing. You didn't even spell most of the names correctly. I do understand, however, why somebody like you would enjoy X3.

yeah but x-men 3 sucked donkey!!! though i do like the rush hour movies. it's kinda a love/hate sorta thing for me with ratner. he's got good stuff and then some bad stuff. they shoulda waited for bryan singer to finish superman and let him direct x3

Jason Statham should play as Kratos. He's the greatest actor of all time:P At least in my opinion:) I don't know a lot of director names , but i like Guy Ritchie so it would have been cool if he was the director. Or Luc Besson
