Is it just me or is Xbox Live shitting the bed at the moment?

I really want more clarification on the "once per disc" thing. What happens if I get an RROD and MS replaces my Xbox? Will I have to buy the game all over again?

And when your hard drive takes a crap, your option is what? Spend another $40 to get your AC/DC songs back?

Say it ain't so.

At this time we are unaware if using the activation code for the transfer will register the content on your account, which could solve this issue.

At this point, we do not know.

"In order to get online with the AC/DC tracks players must transfer the songs to their hard drive, as was required to play Rock Band songs in Rock Band 2 - which also opens up other restrictions such as character customization."

I don't get it.

I think I'll wait a year for Walmart to start discounting the product to $20. Then I'll buy it.

I don't see how this makes sense to harmonix.... Anyone that wants to the tracks on the 360 will purchase it, rip it, and trade it in. or sell it. Anyone that doesn't want to rip it to hard drive will probally buy it used. The whole process will cause the value of the game to decline rather quickly.

Offering it 2 separate ways would increase thier sales dramatically.

i like ac/dc as much as the next guy, but i'm not paying $30 to purchase all 18 songs. where's the a la carte option? this is a crappy move because i guarantee that given the option, there are only a few people who would still buy ALL songs. and despite the fact that i'm somewhere near 200 songs for RB2, do i want ac/dc to make up 10% of my list?

When AC/DC hits iTunes, we'll be able to download the tracks individually.

Doesnt this defeat the purpose of "DLC"??

Why would they make it a shit load more complicated for no reason... Unless M$ rapes you on DLC posting fees...

Can you pre-order at wal-mart? Also "one per disc" means if you buy it used you can transfer it. sad face because now i have to go to walmart to get it. Damn marketing people.

I really hope they mean there is a transfer license code that can only be used once. Much like you had to buy one for the original rock band songs to exfer them for RB2. Cause if it is that way you could simply logon and redownload the license from your download history if your system tanked or you got a new drive. And They re transfer the content its still secure there is no sharing etc, it makes sense and is fair so I hope they do that. A one time ex fer is a horrible horrible idea that I will not support with any money.
