Not a hater but there's still nothing there that makes me want a PS3.

LBP would be nice, but not essential.

In other news, why won't it let me change my profile pic?

Sounds a bit like a fanboy to me. I'd personally would like to see what Sony's unvieling.

Slowpoke man is right. Joystiq is very incompatible with Internet Explorer. Site runs buggy, downvoted comments don't get grayed out, and pretty much every reply button you click has an even chance of just refreshing the page

That's how I feel about the 360. The only thing it has that I want is Lost Odyssey.

agreed Heh. it's hard NOT to assume that had one word in the article (Sony) been replaced by another (either Microsoft or Nintendo), StalkerB would've been extatic. it's one thing to feel neutral about unannounced games, it's quite another to have low expectations about them, especially when the possibilities could be follow-ups to Shadow of the Colossus, Dark Cloud, Suikoden or ZOE.

Took me about 4 months get a profile pic.. I don't know, but does them being the same height as width (in pixels) help at all? That's the first and only one I've managed to get up.

Just wait until.....

(You fill in the gap with w/e project sony fanboys are claiming will save the ps3 now)

I'm sure whatever Team ICO is working on will make them cream their pants so they at least have that to look forward to.

12 unannounced titles on any platform is good news.
however, i am curious to find out how many of those 12 games will find a home in the US and EU markets...?
this is TGS and sony always makes a lot of japan only exclusives.

The Sony published unannounced titles are by SCEJ, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

ah shit. didnt notice that SCEJ was publishing ALL of them. that pretty much rules out God of War 3 as well (but i guess it's already technically announced anyway.)

FF7, really? A sequel would be good, but a pure remake would not be good. FF7 was superb for a console RPG in '98, but it's starting to show its age.

I suppose a FF7 remake would be WAY better than a FF8 remake, though.

Nevermind, I'd rather have a remake of FF6, I never even beat FF7, for some reason stopped playing 1/3 of the way.

Of all the FF's that demand a remake, FFVII deserves it the most. Why? FFVII was an inconsistant mess. Some parts have textures, some don't. Some sequences use particles, some don't. Even the art style in the cutscenes themselves are inconsistant. FFVII stood as a groundbreaking RPG in that it told us what COULD be done with 3D in an era where everyone else was still wrapping their minds around "Wait... you mean I can apply a SPRITE to this polygon and give it COLOR?!?." As such, the entire game is plagued with you being able to tell EXACTLY how far in development certain sequences were created. No other FF game is soo racked with a sense of inconsistancy or lack of world coherence as FFVII. It remains a technical blemish to the great series.

I'm still pissed off with Collosus' ending. Really, I kept praising it for being wise for sticking without a story. I didn't want some odd tie in with Ico. Sigh.
Still, those last three enemies were very fun.

I'm going to count how many have release dates, and whether what they show has any resemblance to how an actual game would be.

On the other hand, doesn't a TGS showing often mean playability? I definitely want to see LBP and Wii Music there, just to see what on earth actual members of the public end up doing with it.

Guitar Hero: Legend of Rock is a sequel to GH3 and will be exclusive to the Playstation 3. I will feature only one playable character, Kaz "Krazy" Hirai, as you play through various arenas and gigs aiming to be the very best..like no one ever was.

It will also include that gimmicky as shit song creator.

Personally the most exciting one to me is Lumines Supernova. Maybe Lumines will get the true sequel that it deserves. That game swallowed my soul at the PSP launch. I would love a great PS3 version.

It's safe to assume one of those unannounced titles is the new team ico game, but for what I'm hoping for is another Dark Cloud.

About 10 or 11 new ps3 games to announce. TGS= Japan show. Level 5= big in Japan. Dark Cloud= RPG.

Make it happen Sony and Level 5.

A Lot of those games are dropping on the 360 also= Still not worth getting a ps3.

It's also a shame that they got rid of BC. I just picked up FFXII too.. Bring back BC, and it's just possible I'll use my Wii as a down payment.

Ahh, I'll just wait for the new psp.. sony refuses to listen to anyone but them old-ass execs that think they know it all.. I'll just keep the ps2 plugged up.

I was in the store with the choice of a 360 and PS3, Naruto broke the tie and I sided with PS3. Couldn't be happier. Xbox needs a portable.

9 of the unannounced titles are from Sony, so xbox won't be getting all of them.

9 unannounced 1st party games seems suspiciously high. I wonder how many of those will be PSN titles, remakes, casual, very early in development, etc.

In any case, it looks like TGS should be a big showing for Sony if even half of the unanounced list consists of ambitious titles.
