Noooooooo!!! I JUST got a 1-year subscription from Best Buy AND I was considering getting the Live Vision bundle (but it was just a tad too expensive for my taste). Oh well, the code's already been scratched off and used...

Do you think you'll have live in a year? If yes, then just buy it.

Anyone know what the expiration is on these bundles? Might as well pick this up now if I can renew with this in a few months.

You can put in the Live subscription code at any time and it will just stack onto the end of your current subscription.

wow! thanks for the heads up :D

I really needed a headset(dog chewed old one) and I got a few months left of Live so it seems like a real bargain to me.

Seriously? are you posting this from SlickDeals and not CheapAssGamer because of that whole rumor thing? Maybe you guys just stumbled upon it on SD, but just letting you know CAG reported on this first.

Well, the SD link Dustin posted says, "Thanks to Strider2K99 from CAG for this deal." But I agree. Just link to CAG who broke the deal and cut out the middleman. Don't be petty X3F!

Any chance theses savings will be reflected at a Canadian retailer?

This is what I did last time I bought LIVE. Got two of these and sold the cameras, so for $65 I got 2 years of LIVE and the rest of the crap.

Now that crap should be returnable. If you go to the supermarket and buy milk that is expired you can return it. As long as the pack was not sold as expired, they should and ought to refund you the money if you want. If not, please let us know where you bought it so we never go there even to piss.

I got it at Gamestop.

But I called 'em back today, and they said to call MS, I did. They said that they filed a report and gave me the case number, and said to take this into GS and have them (GS) call us (MS), and it should be taken care of.

So I'm gonna go tomorrow and see what happens. Hopefully I get my 12 months of Live as well as the headset and Camera, that'd be tight!

Thank you X3F. I went to circuit city and showed the guy (from the posting on your site) who worked there that the price was lowered. Since circuit city price matches, he checked the gamestop price and sold me the $79.99 bundle for $53.49 including tax. This deal is freakin sweet seeing as the 12 month gold membership alone is $49.99. For that price I also got a new headset, 2 XBLA games, 200 microsoft points, and a vision camera. Thank you for the post cause I nabbed me one. Also, it was the last bundle left at the circuit city I went to and both gamestops in the CenturyIII mall were out. The best thing was that myself or the circuit city employee didn't even see the bundle. As he checked the internets and invoice my girlfriend with her keen eyes spotted the bundle.

Dude I bought the bundle and it does say that but I called 18004myxbox and I spoke with a manager. All the codes in the bundle work I redeemed them. The 12 month that I had does not expire until Dec. 2025. Straight from the managers mouth. It was cool though because I guess he was talking to some of his co-employees about the situation and he said that some thought it wasn't going to work and some of them did. It turns out that those "redeem by xx/xx/xx dates mean nothing. The cards don't expire for decades.

Please tell me you're not kidding because that'd be so ideal right now.

But I really don't want to risk having to rip open the card and then having it backfire, and then try returning it and then they won't take it back, cuz I opened it...

I just bought this at CC last one by the way, the guy checked the gamestop page so I made him price match it but I just checked the side of the box and it says to redeem the code by 6-30-08 :-( should I even open it or just take it back.

Listen to me I already redeemed the codes. They do work. The 06/30/2008 redeem by date means nothing. I didnt open mine in fear of not be able to return it. Just open it and type it in and it will work. There is no expiration date for 12 month live codes. There is but it is like 15-20 years. The code i had worked until Dec. of 2025. Call 18004myxbox if you dont believe me but all the codes worked and i was playin uno before i knew it. Just open it and type it in carefully. It will work, guaranteed!!!

Thanks X3f. There were stacks of newer bundles at Best Buy with this price right there on the rack. The codes all expire in summer 2009, I think because this is the newer bundle (the design is the newer one). It probably wouldn't matter anyway.
