This is awesome. Netflix is probably what I'm most excited for with the update, and now itll be even better.

I have my PC hooked up to a 26" HDTV. When I found out Netflix allows unlimited streaming with their $9/month plan, and already has all of the seasons of The Office and Hereos up, I got onboard.

The quality of the streams depends on the speed of your connection, I usually get near-DVD quality, though there is some pixelation at peak times.

I watched Super High Me via Netflix and PC to TV connections, as well, and have to agree.

Wait, what were we talking about, again?

oh man, what a bunch of sheeple you editors are. I wonder what would happen if I said "I believe it's 'face rape' your appetite", way to grow a back-bone editors. I'm sorry, I believe it's "way to grow a pair editors".

He corrected a spelling error that you pointed out.

Why are you being a dick about it?

+1 moorio.. how do you know he wasn't just being sarcastic after a) realizing it was a typo or b) doing extensive research to find out it was, in fact, an error. Did you expect a lengthy debate on the topic? Or how about no response at all? Dustin could have easily just fixed the error - or, shock, not fixed it at all - and not said a damn thing. Instead, he took the time to reply to your condescending comment, and in return you bashed him for *correcting a mistake*. What a sheeple-fcuker you are, sir. How's that, Mr. Rocko? And yes, that was an intentional typo.

For the record, I'm not a "sheeple editor", but I do enjoy sheep. Not goats so much. Oh, and try to smile more.

dear god, I was just getting bored of everyone going "hey, you forgot to spell a word a certain way, but it's okay! Here, have a cookie, the chocolate chips are oh-so gooey." I felt like being a dick for once, is that too much to ask for? There are times in everyone's lives where they too feel like being on the dick end of the string. Albeit, I was veiled behind the anonymity granted to us by the internet, but it's a feature I never try to exploit. And seriously, you could have been a dick about it too and respond with "well you know what? I like wet better than whet." I would've grown some major respect points for you for standing up and being the big man of the house, but hey, different strokes for different folks. There, everyone happy that my original intention is publicly-known, and you can go to bed knowing there really isn't a douche bag like response #8 by Rocko?

This is a HUGE deal. All Netflix subscribers should just go out and buy an Xbox now. It is the cheapest, fastest way to rent movies and now the library is meaningful. Wow.

***********

the roku netflix player cost $99, and will be adding hulu and other services in november

so thats the cheapest, not all people are gamers, and while i have a 360 i wouldn't use it for movies, my roku box does just fine and makes no noise, unlike the 360.

To use Netflix on XBOX LIVE, you need a Netflix account that allows streaming (min $9/month I believe) and an XBOX LIVE account.

One of the main reasons why It's good to be an xbox owner. I hope that streaming movies all the time, won't lead to RROD :S

This is great news!. if you really look at it is cheaper than getting Starz from the cable, dish, directv it self. it cost about $13 just for starz with movies that u don't want to see sometimes. you could record your favorties movies but thats extra $5 amonth for DVR. here only $9. with unlimited streaming anytime you want any movie you like to see, plus you get the new releases by mail. So is a sweet deal. I'll recycle as much i can to pay for the monthly service :). whenever you see a botle you must think is free money. cause it is.

I subscribed to Netflix and read a lot of info on Netflix streaming via Roku, the LG DVD player, etc...I was under the impression that the quality of the streaming videos is less than DVD.
