The Xbox Live Arcade and PSN iterations are presumably still being tweaked (much like the PSN's Episode One), but will share the same price of 15 earth bucks. Hooray for subsequent episodic games becoming cheaper!

I was willing to pay $20 (or 1600 MS Points, rather) for Episode 2, but at $15 I'm definitely picking it up (or, downloading it, rather).

Huh? What are you smoking? Most every title that is released on XBLA clocks in at 800MSP (aka $10) with the ocassional game that costs more or less. But let's look at sept for example, every release was 800MSP. So... are you just uninformed or a jackass?

I fancy myself more of a pretty boy than a jackass, to be honest. I was actually talking about how the next price point for this game is $15, as opposed to the previous game's price point of $20 on XBLA. I bought episode 1 on steam for $10. I found it nice that this game was at a new price point of $15 for XBLA. However, I'm sure you and your assumptions already knew that, right?
So you can just take your "witty" remarks, your assumptions, and your ego, go look in the mirror, and tell me who's the jackass now.

So with this being episode 2 of 5 = 5x $15 = $75 for a game that's just above average on some respect. Sorry no support for pilfering. Maybe @ $5-6 each episode? I understand the costs(Time & $$$) involved to make a game, but there are limits. Maybe Microsoft and/or Sony need to lower their hosting prices. It's been posted that Microsoft charges developers for XBLA games between 35%-70% royalty fees depending on how much financial support MS gives. Google it!!! I have yet to see Sony's.

2 of 4, actually, and they'll probably drop it to $10 on Steam after a bit, just like the first ep.
So let's say you pay full price (20 + 15 + 15 + 15), you're only paying $5 more than a full retail game (the same, actually, with tax), and the first episode alone definitely had some depth. I imagine that the entire finished product will be more than worth it.
Also, like I said, wait for it to drop on Steam, and the whole thing will only set you back $40.

I, of course, thought that the trial was pretty funny, but I thought the combat was pretty boring. I really didn't give it to much of a chance though. I'm not that into RPGs, the only ones I've really played were the almost all the Mario ones(Super Mario RPG in cartridge format included), Poke'mon, and KOTOR 1. I don't think I would ever spend $20 dollars or more on a dl title unless I thought it was awesome and had multiplayer.

Still hilarious that no one criticizes them for their hypocrisy. I don't need to explain myself; anyone who has followed Penny Arcade knows what I'm talking about.
Needless to say I will be passing up episode 2 as I did with one; only the most rabid Penny Arcade fans could justify the price and hypocrisy.

I see a lot of people saying this and honestly, here's the final point I always suggest basing the purchase on:
If you don't like/aren't familiar with Penny Arcade's comedy, don't buy it.
I mean really, just don't buy it. half of the game is the comicly-geared story and the other half is composed of all the battles.
It's not like saying "If you don't like it, piss off" it's more "I really advise you not to get it if you don't enjoy their humor."
That aside, it's great to hear that the PC version is finished and should be releasing soon. I'm really looking forward to episode two and hoping Div provides a nice addition to the party.

That's a good choice. I could pass on this at $20 especially if I'm busy with something else. It was worth $20 for the curiosity the first time. I'd pay $15 to see where it keeps going.

But try this out,
Order a Pizza with the works and a side, for you and a friend...( dont forget the drink). When it comes send it back...Tell Dominoes (or w/e) you refuse to pay that ridiculous price, for the meat is not succulent enough, and you only want the cheesiest of cheese! *Patooey!*

I spent $15 on a car wash today... Ask for a raise in your allowance if you want to buy a game that you think you will like or don't buy it! Can everyone just quit bitching about the price of games! This is the way it is, prices go up and not down (unless no one buys it!) Welcome to the real world.

I rather see people go off on how bad/ good a game is. That way i can get some insight as what to expect etc. Xbox live has been out for years now...so that whole topic should get a (-)Neg. anytime its mentioned.
Also look, a car wash! $15!... Not to beat a dead horse, but i can think of tons of other things that cost more than a game right now.

I just finished the first episode and loved it. I was a little hesitant spending the 20 bucks but it was so much fun it was worth it. I can't wait until the second episode comes out.
