This is about as direct a confirmation of downloadable content in the Wii version of Rock Band 2 as we're going to see. Even better, hey, free songs! The official Rock Band 2 site has started taking registrations for a set of 20 free downloadable bonus tracks, accessed by entering a code found on the instruction manual. Xbox 360 fans have been aware of this offer for a couple of weeks due to their, well, earlier access to instruction manuals. We didn't dare get our hopes up about any downloadable music, much less a bundle of free songs.
But the registration clearly says "Anyone who has purchased Rock Band 2 for the Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii is eligible to receive 20 additional DLC tracks, free of charge, coming soon"! Huzzah!

While I'll take it as confirmation, I'll do so with the knowledge it might be an error. :

Dude its already been confirmed by the developer....Sad when a site that calls itself Wii fanboy is behind every other site on the net even the ones that do nothing but hate on Wii. My god you got some really low intellect users here too... Clearly states DLC for PS3,360 and Wii but you got clowns talking about a disc or another moron who doesnt know the Wii uses SD cards of 1-8 gigs for storing that DLC. brutal obvious would be saying you're an idiot Mr Kahn... how the hell do you really think that 20 songs wont fit on an 8 gig SD card?

Dear lord, don't ruin the week yet it's only Wednesday! sheesh.
And before you go bashing others for not knowing EVERYTHING there is to know about the Wii, might I point out that the higher capacity SD cards (>2GB) don't work on the Wii.
