This game could have been great but too bad US support is pretty much nonexistent. These Queen packs won't come here because there are Queen singles that still haven't been released in the US but have been out in the UK for 6 months, along with plenty of other great tunes.

I'd much rather have them release a patch that makes it possible to to pull songs from the HDD or MP3 Player.....

ya know Like it should have BEEN doin so that M$ didnt beat them to the Punch with LIPS.........

hell I'd settle for $.99 songs on the store that we could use on our MP3 players..........

Umm… the PS3 plays MP3s out of the box if that is what you want… even with a nice visualisation. Feel free to sing along with it.

The Singstar tracks contain video clips and lyrics and note bars, a simple MP3 does not contain that information.

Usually the whole "use your own music" for karaoke has never worked.

We've seen very little of Lips and it's expected to launch in 2 months. They haven't shown that functionality to the public, despite claiming it works.

I'm more than willing to pay if they provide me with content I want. (Which includes these Queen updates they keep taunting us with)

Unless every third word is FUCK and every second word is CUNT I don't think Lips will sell.

Just saying.

I've got a FEW programs that can read pitch from ANY Audio track I open in it.....it SHOULD be within the Cell's processing power to be able to do that.......

damn the Video........I could care less about seeing a video if I can have my OWN music in it.....but sure if I PAY for music from the SingStore throw a video in it.......but make it so that the Audio can be a separate mp3 file that we can put on our MP3 players.....

I bet Europeans might be pretty happy now. I remember, before SingStar was released in the US, everyone talked about how poor the updates for SingStar were and how little support was actually given. Now, though, they're probably saying, "Our store may not be that great, but at least it's not the American store!"
