When most of the gameplay videos seem to have been played by one-armed chimps with RSI, I'm going to have to disagree.
Plus I think the experience you'll have with the game is going to be very relevant to who you're playing it with.
A good 4-5 of my best friends at school are PC gaming Valve fanboys just like myself, so I think I'll enjoy it ^^

Completely agree... game seems to play exactly like Counter-Strike... except this time you're flooded with Zombies.

Have your doubts, but also realize there's something on the box cover that guarantees your fears are unwarranted. And that's the VALVe logo.

I'm with you man. Originally I was stoked and couldn't wait to play it, but then I watched the gameplay videos and it looks pretty bad. And that has nothing to do with who is playing it.

Not only is this a Day 1, but I'll be scouring stores looking for early sellers in the weeks before.
Honestly it's such a very minor thing, but this cover is actually more appealing to me. Not sure why.

Hate to disagree with your interpretation, Ross, but I think the "dead" part of the pun was referring to the fact that it's the hand of a dead guy. You know, the reaching out of the grave scene from countless movies?
However, I suggest we consult with Ludwig to provide the final analysis of the pun.

Saw the new boxart last night when I was updating my GameQ on gamefly, didn't think much of it heh but I can't afford to pick this one up as well as all the other amazing games this year so it's just a rental for me.

Zombies aren't infected, they are the living dead, they don't have a disease haha. The infected however are people who are infected with some virus that makes them as such. Zombies come back to life from the grave.
