Hey, I'm pretty anti-Wii, but it'll be the first game in a loooooong time that gets me to turn that system on.

(I'm ashamed, too)

Is a good selection.

But what do they have in store for tomorrow, exactly?

They did say that they were going to get the 100 zombies at once, these are just a bad selection of screenshots.

IGN has some vids that show more than 2 zombies. But yes, if you played the 360 version of course a Wii port is going to look sad.

Animal Crossing looks really crisp especially after spending months playing the DS version... can't wait for it.
And dead rising looks absolutely awful, hopefully it plays well... but I'm not expecting much.

I think on its own it could be a good game, but anyone who's ever seen, heard of, or (especially) played the 360 version is probably going to be greatly disappointed.

I can't wait for Tmac and his anti-wii-brigade to turn up with the 'Whaaaa, The Conduit looks like a Ps2 game cause i forget how bad Ps2 graphics are even though in reality it looks far better than Black on the Xbox Whaaa Whaaaa!!!'. It's getting old fellas, don't even bother. As long as Wii graphics are better than last gen (and mostly they are, with a few games being worse) then who gives a shit.

The Conduit could look like a goblin's asshole for all I care, as long as it plays well and is fun I will give it a try.

Nah, I've not been real impressed with the Wii's library, but The Conduit looks decent. I bet it looks even better on a good ol' SDTV, much like any other Wii title.

If you're concerned about them making themselves look like dicks, why not just let them instead of preempting them with your own dickery?

I'm still kinda split on The Conduit. When I see videos, after the surprise of how pretty good the graphics and effects are, I get the impression that it just seems like a generic shooter. There is a lot of mediocrity in the game play from what I see from the videos, but its still in pre-alpha so I will hold my final judgement.

But you got to give some respect for the folks at High Voltage, no matter if you love or hate The Conduit, They really work hard and give more effort than a lot of other developers on the wii.

I absolutely agree.

While this game is still in pre-alpha stages, everything I've seen and heard has been pretty meh. I do not like the sound effects (shooting seems way off, as if every last shot is muffled), some of the environments are lame, etc. Still gotta give High Voltage credit, though - they're giving us Wii gamers what most devs don't care to give.

With great graphics, waggle controls, and a cool setting - I can live through generic. But then again, this is coming from the person who still plays DOOM Quake (1). Darn it, they're still fun - more so than a lot of this "modern" stuff.

Even if it doesn't do too well due to poor level or sound design, I hope the high quality of the controls and/or graphics set a precedent to third-party developers that says "Look, okay, you can do something mature with this beyond silly minigames and remakes."
