Aye. There's a tragic absence from the lineup. Why they didn't take today to announce it is beyond me.

THIS should have been the E3 keynote!

So have we figured out what they actually meant by the SD cards thing yet? It's sounding like a bit of a semantic tango to me at the moment.

With the new DSi Shop & Camera, Nintendo's gonna put internal memory in the DSi. Though to expand it, you can use SD cards.

I meant the Wii storage, they mentioned something about the solution being SD cards, but it's actually looking like you can't actually play off the SD card, just faster copying, which seems completely pointless.

That would be disappointing indeed.

Punch Out.
Add two wiimotes (nunchuk control = fail)
Add two motion+ thingies.
Add the balance board.
Add custom character (or Mii) mapping
i.e. arm reach etc.

And you would have the most kick-ass boxing game ever concieved.

You heard it here first.

Everyone would love to go out and spend all that money on peripherals.

Chances are, if you have a Wii then 2 wiimotes is the least you have.
In my case I already have a balance board. And you (I) already plan to get the next wii sports.

That leaves you (me), really with one two more things to purchase - the game and another motion+ thingy.

But as always, if its worth it to you, you will buy it. If not, you won't.

I don't think it'll be literal like that. I'd like something a bit like No More Heroes, the tilt of the wiimote determines the height of your punch, a jabs and b hooks. I'd use the tilt of the nunchuck to tilt the torso, for dodging and weaving, z could handle dodging and blocking and c does something.

While not the best lineup conceivable, this is a little bit of what the Wii needed from Nintendo. They seem to be branching out a bit and revisiting their old franchises rather than rehashing Mario and Zelda titles over and over.
